I don't think there is one yet, at least not one posted recently. If there is, feel free to correct me.

shinobigarth just answered my question XD so you ramp into Necrotic Ooze with Generator Servant, which gives it haste, Faithless Looting to pitch the trees from hand to grave...

Guys I think we have a nice combo deck on the way :)

It's funny how if you switch life totals with an opponent with "infinite" life, you could potentially have a creature with billions of toughness... Pariah, anyone?

Stitcher's Graft

Equipped creature gets +3/+3

Whenever equipped creature attacks, it doesn't untap during it's controller's next untap step.

Whenever Stitcher's Graft becomes unequipped from the permanent, sacrifice that permanent.

Got a feeling there's a UR Harness the Storm deck coming to standard with that Curious Homunculus, Geistblast, and Galvanic Bombardment and Taking Inventory :D

Might entice me to play standard for once :)

Snake_Oil says... #6

Finally! A Flip Homunculus!

It's not a legendary, but mistakes into miracles!

"Good books make you savor each word"

Flavor text winner right there.

Nightdragon779 says... #8

That new homunculus is so broken.

June 29, 2016 7:13 a.m.

Guftders says... #9

I'm guessing there's two uncommon cycles of mono colour DFCs- one that is reliant on a colourless creature (like the fisherman), and another on the colours natural mechanic (see Lone Rider and Curious Homunculus). Hopefully there's a full cycle for Taking Inventory and Galvanic Bombardment, but doubtful since there wasn't a full cycle for the cards they're based off.

June 29, 2016 7:13 a.m.

Guftders says... #10

Little bit off topic, but just finished brewing a UR Harness the Storm deck A New Storm to Harness

Not sure if it's been done before (probably has), but let me know if there's any obvious changes (I don't really play standard tbh) and the top 3-5 decks I should test it against :)

So with the new tree, Vhati il-Dal EDH can do great things now?

June 29, 2016 7:58 a.m.

Rayenous says... #12

'Tree of Perdition' + Triskaidekaphobia is nice...

But let's not forget that Assault Formation is also still in Standard. - End of opponents turn... "I set your life total to 13..." - Your turn... "I swing for 20."

Heck it's large enough to trade with "new'mrakul".... or just kill it if you've traded a life total and made it bigger.

June 29, 2016 7:59 a.m.

Rayenous says... #13

Also... this is Soooo going in my Doran, the Siege Tower deck (which also uses Assault Formation).

2CMC, 3/4, Prowess, "Instants and Sorceries you cast are reduced by ."

Seems strong.

Anyone able to read that and tell me if the, "...sacrifice it." part refers to the equipped creature, or the equipment.

Guftders says... #16

I believe it refers to the equipment itself, otherwise it would specify "sacrifice that creature"

geralf

vampire

Don't know if its here yet..

June 29, 2016 10:40 a.m.

PistonGolem says... #19

If this is true, I will be kinda sad that they did not make a Gisa and a Geralf card. I wanted 2 so that I could use one in commander.

June 29, 2016 10:43 a.m.

Gisa and Geralf are working together now? Last time I checked Gisa was with Nahiri and Geralf was doing his own thing. It has weird wording - "during each of your turns" - ??? Also, zombie edh eh?

June 29, 2016 10:45 a.m.

Phaetion says... #21

I instantly fell in love with Geralf's and Gisa's card. Love it. Time to bring back the Walking Dead. :D

...except I'm now sad that this deconfirms Hal and Alena getting a card. :( Way to dash my hopes, Wizards.

June 29, 2016 10:48 a.m.

JDMCRIB says... #22

Karador, Ghost Chieftain also uses that wording.

As for the cards, they seem pretty strong. Not sure if Gisa and Geralf is what zombies need to be viable, but it adds another layer of resiliency to the deck. Obvious EDH potential as well. Bloodhall Priest, on the other hand, looks very good. It's the high-end threat that Vampires needed; it's a decent-bodied Madness beater that Shocks something every turn. I love everything about it.

June 29, 2016 10:50 a.m.

Phaetion says... #23

New Gisa/Geralf + Rooftop Storm + (optional) Strionic Resonator, anyone?

Well this takes the cake as my new favorite card. I was hoping for something amazing to replace Elusive Spellfist in my Izzet deck xD

June 29, 2016 10:55 a.m.

TMBRLZ says... #25

Love the flavor on Gisa and Geralf

And what are you copying with Strionic Resonator Phaetion?

June 29, 2016 10:56 a.m.

Perhaps he wants to mill an extra 4 cards?

June 29, 2016 10:58 a.m.

Holy moly, that Gisa+Geralf looks fun for EDH. I may have to stop building my Skeleton Ship based deck and switch to these guys.

Also the homunculus and vampire look pretty good.

Lol I designed a card nearly identical to the new gisa and Geralf. The only difference is i used morbid. Proof

I think the siblings is the card that U/B zombies needed

June 29, 2016 11:44 a.m.

Guftders says... #33

Lol nope. That is not the card UB Zombies need in standard- they need low cmc zombies. You know how many zombies at 3 cmc or less there are in standard at the moment?

ONE. Relentless Dead. Any other you can mention is garbage.

June 29, 2016 11:47 a.m.

Guftders says... #34

Oops I meant below cmc. They've got nothing at 1 and one card at 2, but their 3 drop and 4 drop slots are solid.

Don't think anyone has posted these yet so here they are

June 29, 2016 11:56 a.m.

DrFunk27 says... #36

Curious Humonculus is my favorite card in the set so far.

June 29, 2016 12:06 p.m.

Rayenous says... #37

That Skaab is likely to be underestimated in Limited for a while...

I can imagine a Turn 7 easily being... you swing as a 2/3, and they don't block (thinking they'll take 4ish damage)
Uncaged Fury + Prowess... it's a 4/5.
Pay
It's now 8/1 Doublestrike... take 16.

Sure... that's a specific line that would be uncommon (though they are both common cards)... but the concept of Prowess + ability makes this quite a bit more powerful than it looks.

June 29, 2016 12:09 p.m.

shinobigarth says... #38

you guys think i should put Gisa and Geralf in the Alesha zombies modern list i'm probably gonna make now? has the new 6 drop zombie dude ranch, Diregraf Colossus, Gary, maybe Grimgrin, Undead Warchief etc. should it go Grixis or just stay Rakdos?

June 29, 2016 12:23 p.m.

ae0n5105 says... #39

Gisa and Geralf:

because Gisa zombie tribal needs rooftop storm. and a LOT more zombies, and Grimgrin.

Naively saying: this is my favorite EDH card from this set.

Deckologist says... #40

I feel like this innistrad did the same thing last innistrad did. Beginning of block was awesome. End of the block was...well it was.

June 29, 2016 12:49 p.m.

DrFunk27 says... #41

So this is awesome. I've always wanted Wizards to make something like this. I will be buying as many of these at pre-release as possible. Holy shit are they badass.

enter image description here

June 29, 2016 1:03 p.m.

I'm not crazy about Gisa and Geralf, as it seems their lifelong feud has ended without any explanation, and the card does nothing to bring together their different methods of necromancy: stitching versus ghoulcalling. Are they raising undead as they are or combing parts? Yes, they both want full graveyards and zombies but they were unique in their differing opinions of the best form of necromancy.

As recent as SOI we saw in Rise from the Tides that they were still feuding, mostly now over Geralf teaming-up with Ludevic (supposedly). But now we see a card of the siblings teamed-up? Dumb. I think we all were expecting a Geralf and Ludevic card rather than this. And couldn't they have done separate cards that melded into the two of them combined?

Some may like it, but to me this is a 100% flavor FAIL.

June 29, 2016 1:34 p.m.

Zaueski says... #43

Jimmy_Chinchila we don't know any of their story in EMN yet. how about we wait to see if it's a story card before we judge its flavor? Cards like Structural Distortion and Anguished Unmaking didn't make any sense til much later and they were probably the most flavorful cards in SOI

I'm still trying to wrap my head around the fact Wizards gave us a reverse Tree of Redemption. Is it Christmas already?

Triskaidekaphobia

Necrotic Ooze

Sudden Spoiling

You don't even need a second color to make it work. Obviously, none of these combos is even remotely competitive, but hell if they aren't fun.

June 29, 2016 1:54 p.m.

Deckologist says... #47

How does sudden spoiling work with it?

June 29, 2016 2:04 p.m.

Rayenous says... #48

So, if I use that to exile a Duplicant...

I get a 2/4 Zombie
And a 1/1, whose power and toughness are equal to a creature that I get to exile?

So will it be a 1/1 or a #/#? - I believe layers apply a 'Characteristic Defining Ability' (CDA) before applying P/T specifying abilities... so it would apply the #/#, then have it's P/T set to 1/1.

Can someone confirm this?

It will be:
Duplicant -

Artifact Creature - Shapeshifter Spirit (other creature types, based on exiled creature)

(Imprint ability, although no further effect as it's just an ETB effect that is completed)
(CDA Ability, that has no effect as the '1/1' ability overwrites the P/T)

1/1

June 29, 2016 2:08 p.m. Edited.

Zaueski says... #49

For the soul harvester card you exile a creature in your graveyard and get 2 tokens for it. One being a 1/1 Spirit Flyer with all of it's abilities and a zombie with its power and toughness.

June 29, 2016 2:11 p.m.

Kravian says... #50

Soul Separator almost made me EDH-gasm, then I saw "your graveyard" . . . sigh.
