Am I the only one who thinks this card has some serious potential?
- Turn 1: Play Darksteel Citadel
- Turn 2: Play an Island and enchant Darksteel Citadel with Ensoul Artifact: get a 5/5 indestructible artifact creature on turn 2
What other good implications might this have?

this card is sweet. I really like the Darksteel Citadel plan. its an indestructible 5/5 that is still a land. that is really good. so is the flying 5/5 on turn 2

did they really just possibly give Infect & Affinity a boost?
Not sure if they're just reprinting affinity staples or actually trying to push it in standard.
I mean... Inkmoth Nexus + This....

As for Inkmoth Nexus , I'd assume the enchantment would fall off as soon as your turn is over, meaning you'd have to enchant it again to get in 5 more -1/-1 counters. That's still pretty sweet though.

Not standard, but Darksteel Relic is another good candidate to be enchanted by this card haha.

It's Tezzeret, Agent of Bolas 's -1 on an Aura. Interesting.
I wonder what Khans has to offer in the way of Affinty stuff.

Man, so many possibilities.I'll be getting 4.This will probably make some form of standard artifact deck viable.
I mean even on Darksteel Ingot this thing sounds fun lol
5/5 indestructible mana tapper, sure why not for LOLs.

Darksteel Citadel Ornithopter Springleaf Drum scuttling doom engine Shrapnel Blast Chief Engineer Darksteel Ingot Soul of New Phyrexia probably Lightning Strike and some random support cards like Rapid Hybridization void snare, etc. and you have yourself a deck.

Eyes open wide. Between this and the Scuttling Doom Engine, my deck won't be that janky anymore with a Hellkite Tyrant + Goblin Kaboomist win condition...

...and why doesn't "Kalonian Twingrove" use that wording?
Shouldn't it be "This creature's base power and toughness are each equal to the number of forests you control."
You would think they would be consistent in a change like this.

The "base power and toughness" isn't what I was talking about.
It's mostly just the way that whole block of text is organized. Like, it really seems off.

Still though, the wording doesn't make me happy. I wasn't happy with some of the wording in Theros either, but I can't remember specifically what it was. Oh, it was Ajani, Mentor of Heroes . Somethings weird about that +1

How about a 5/5 Ornithopter turn 2? I think that's pretty good.
