Exalted in Origins and Unfounded Conjecture

The new card Deadly Wanderings reminded me of some similarly-functioning cards from the ISD era (such as Demonic Rising and Predator's Gambit). In ISD, they were around to play nicely with Exalted, which was a returning Keyword in the Core Set that was Standard legal at the time (I believe it was M13). Deadly Wanderings makes me think we may be seeing Exalted again soon. If we do, this could mean the much-needed unbarred reprinting of Noble Hierarch, a card which has no business being so expensive.
This is all conjecture based on a single card, I might add, but with Hierarch being one of the most unreasonably priced cards relative to what it does, I could definitely see WOTC skipping on it in MM2 and printing it later (cough Thoughtseize cough) to thoroughly drive down the price.
Does this sound like a possibility, or am I overstepping my bounds more than I already realize?
Yea, I feel like I'm taking a lot of steps here, but it makes sense at least.

I might also add that it has been confirmed that we will see the Shard of Bant in Origins for Gideon's first planeswalk. Bant was the home of Exalted, and Hierarch...

Personally I think that's extremely likely, but I see this card more of like a Homicidal Seclusion. Which would strengthen your argument a bit BECAUSE they're so similar.

Now that right there gives you at least some solid evidence to back up your theory. I hope you're right.

My comment was @ Jay's last post. Left the page open too long and didn't realize MagicalHacker left some comments in between.

I don't think this is about exalted. It is far more likely to be about the exploit ability. If you run a deck full of exploit creatures, you can make sure that you're only keeping a single creature on the field.

Also Deadly Wanderings cares about your creatures being alone on the board..... the flavor text simply could be referencing Deadly Wanderings itself.

It's not nonsensical, but you may be overthinking it.
