Form of the Dragon reprint?

Okay, so given the flavor/story of Sarkhan, and the whole plane in general I think a reprint of Form of the Dragon makes a lot of sense. Another thing is that I noticed the art for Fate Reforged looks a lot like the FTV Dragons art for Form of the Dragon.

I like the idea. Although Sarkhan, the Dragonspeaker does turn into a dragon already in his current card form. I wouldn't be surprised if you're right though, good eye.

I really think Ugin will be coming soon as a colorless walker. Karn was printed a long ass time ago so it's high time we got a new one.

Flavor wise it would be awesome.. Playability wise it would be trash. With all the burn out there people would salivate at the thought of you going down to 5 health by your own will.

A new Bolas would be really cool, hopefully it's not a dud like our last super expensive planeswalker, Garruk.

I win via Garruk all the time, he's certainly no dud. I would definitely love to see a new bolas though, ugin as well

I hope we see a new Bolas card as my former self GrixisGuybru and the majority of the magic community felt that his mana cost was much too high for him to be of much use.

shinobigarth I honestly could see this being played in a counter burn variant either Jeskai or Temur. If it did see a reprint I'd love to build a wacky build with this and dictate of Twin Gods. (because why not, I've sided that card in verse control a tonne of times and slaughted them in one turn even after they've landed the angel from sideboard)

Ultimaodin if you weren't tapped out after playing it so you could counter all the burn they would throw at you after that maybe. it would just be really risky in standard with stuff like Phyrexian Unlife to protect you.

Wow, nice to see that I was not the only one. When they revealed this art I was ironically staring at an Enchantment deck with that 5WW epic card and it ran a singleton Form of the Dragon then I noticed that.
Btw, it'll probably be a thrash rare that no one will play but Wizard's will reprint because they want a top-down design.

@Eduardogbg I know it will likely be a trash rare, I just like the card and would like to see new art with Sarkhan on it and see how it fits into the storyline. I'm a primary Spike secondary Vorthos, so it would make my Vorthos happy =)

shinobigarth - This only works if a (they can kill you before you untap) or b) are playing burn. It sets your life total to 5, so if they wish to burn you to death they have to wait until your upkeep, aka after you untap. it is a high risk high reward strategy obviously. Basically fun. :3

Form of the Dragon as a mythic or a rare?
Also, a new Bolas would be awesome. He should cost at least 6 mana and have abilities somewhat similar to the original.

shinobigarth - If you get burnt out directly after casting this, then you are playing it wrong on every level and should feel bad. You should never be tapped out. You are a control deck plain and simple.
