I wonder what the ruling is going to be for the interaction between Worldknit and the one that reduces your minimum deck size by 5?
May 20, 2014 10:13 a.m.
The interaction should be obvious... they just don't work well together.
You can opt to have a deck of only 35 cards... but if you do, Worldknit won't do anything, because you are not using all the cards in your pool.

A reprint of Exploration ?! Jeez-o.
Pity that all the sites that do preorders don't let you preorder foils, there's a few cards I'd like for my all foil edh...

@YouGotFranked: See, that's what I thought it did. I was confused because in a multiplayer format, shouldn't you be getting one free mulligan anyway.
May 20, 2014 4:25 p.m.
Dack is already on preorder here in the UK for more than 60 dollars.
I'm away to sob in a corner.

codebread all rules applying to multiplayer formats will still apply to Conspiracy, so yes you have a free mulligan. What i meant is that if you don't like any of the 2 hands you have and wish to mulligan, you don't get to mulligan for both hands. You have to ship then both back in the library then you mulligan only one new hand.

Does anybody know the rarity of the Conspiracy card type? Will it take the rare slot or is it inserted at random? Tried checking diff articles about the set but none mentioned regarding this
May 21, 2014 3:03 a.m.
There are different rarities for different conspiracies. Some common, few uncommon, few rare.

Misdirection. Well.... It's no force of will but god damn.

I really like this guy. A reanimator strategy with a hint of aggro; what's not to love? Or you can go for a goblin aggro tribal. Best thing to happen to R/B EDH since Rakdos, Lord of Riots .

@Schuesseled: There is one "draft matters" card in the place of basics. This is any card with the seal watermark, including conspiracy cards, the constructs which modify the draft, and the legendary land.

Although, he can bring in big creatures too, just as long as he has a bunch of +1/+1 counters on him. He's pretty interesting.

Is it just me or does that card look like it has some crazy potential?

...so... interesting play during draft. Not sure if it's been mentioned.
You have already drafted a
next, (or any other) pack you see contains
...so you use the Agent of Acquisitions to pick all cards, one at a time, ending with Lurking Automaton.
You now have a 15/15 for 5 CMC in your deck.
If you draft any others this draft, they will also be 15/15 for 5 CMC.
May 22, 2014 9:08 a.m.
Even better than above...
Pack one, you drafted "Agent of Acquisitions" and a "Cogwork Librarian".
Pack 2, Pick 1: - you take the rare... (Cards drafted this round = 1)Pack 2 Pick 2: - You see "Lurking Automaton" and a "Cogwork Librarian" that the drafter beside you just put back in order to take 2 cards.
....
You Flip "Agent of Acquisitions" face down so that you will draft every card in the pack.
You use your "Cogwork Librarian" to take the other "Cogwork Librarian" and another card. (Cards drafted this round = 3)
Use the newly acquired "Cogwork Librarian" to get the "Cogwork Librarian" you just put back, and another card (Cards drafted this round = 5).
Repeat until the only card left in the pack is "Lurking Automaton"
Pick it...
"Lurking Automaton" was now the 28th card you drafted this round... it's now a 5CMC 28/28 creature.
Not overly unlikely, since an opponent with a Cogwork Librarian will often use it first pick of the second pack...
Things that need to happen for this:
- First pack, you get "Agent of Acquisitions" and "Cogwork Librarian"
- First Pack, drafter not passing to you gets a "Cogwork Librarian"
- Second Pack, drafter from above (who is now passing to you) opens a "Lurking Automaton" and decides to use his "Cogwork Librarian" for 2 cards (Not "Lurking Automaton")
Seeing as these are all in Common/Uncommon rarity, it could happen.
May 22, 2014 3:02 p.m.
And I just realized... you can get it to 29/29 without having to rely on your opponent.
If you draft 2x "Cogwork Librarian" and an "Agent of Acquisitions" in the first round, then open a pack with "Lurking Automaton" in the second Pack

Yeh, it's really great for EDH players. Have you seen the new conspiracy cards? There's one that says that all your land can tap for any colour BUT you have to put every card you draft into your deck! Sounds so funny
