I know everyone is probably sick to death of talking about what Nahiri is the Harbinger of, with the consensus being either Emrakul or Marit Lage. While sorting cards I came upon Nissa's Revelation, and I think its flavor may be blatant foreshadowing. Seeing as how the Angels of Innistrad are gripped by madness, Nahiri is trying to summon something she is familiar with, and all the tentacles around Innistrad I think the flavor describing her revelation is going to be our revelation as well: Emrakul is the source of the madness. I know it's tough to go off flavor of a single card, but this seems to be some cool early warning for the observant. I think we could see a [Liliana's Revelation] that is black and functions similarly but allows you to scry and reveal to force discard and life loss. Did I stumble upon a hidden clue or am I grasping at straws?

I don't think so. It could very well be this "five-legged shrew" that the Mad Prophet was alluding to.

Nissa's Revelation is a card from Origins, a set describing the origins of the ORigin 5 Planeswalkers.

The events described in the card Nissa's Revelation happened years before anyone knew the Eldrazi were a thing on Zendikar.

Boza the concept was that the wording used to describe Emrakul was madness, the same word used to describe what is happening on Innistrad. It's not the events of the card that's relevant but the specific way her power was described. Since sets are designed with proximal sets in mind they may have been putting some foreshadowing in for the future.

Nissa discovers Emrakul in the only card to mention Emrakul in the whole Origins-Zendikar block, in a "revelation"; now we are on a plane shrouded in mysterious happenings and Jace among others is searching for the revelation of what is going on, the answer to the mystery. A revelation to unravel the mystery, the source of the madness. Just seems odd that the other planeswalker who had a revelation in recent sets was Nissa discovering Emrakul and experiencing the madness. Few sets later and we have a madness mechanic.

Similarly the art for Ajani Steadfast has a dragon flying in the background and that set was followed by the Tarkir block. Ajani had just left Theros (seen by the addition of Elspeth's cloak to his attire) which is a plane not known for an abundance of dragons, so the art is confusing until you find out the next set is all about dragons. I really do think R&D puts clues of things to come in the flavor and art of some cards.

I too would like to see Marit Lage, hopefully Engulf the Shore is foreshadowing of that. I haven't ruled out Lorthos either, due to Lunar Mystic and a current card I'm blanking on that mentions reverence for creatures of the depths.
