Hopes for Journey into Nyx

I want to know what everyone wants to see in JOU.
For me, I want to see a new G/W Ajani (almost guaranteed there will be an Ajani, I just want it to be G/W).
Also, a mono white permanent that gives your creatures hexproof or indestructible (preferably early game). I want it to be mono white because then it helps G/W Heroic/Auras, BW Heroic/Auras, R/W Heroic/Auras, and U/W Heroic/Auras. Because I feel that lack of creature protection is the only reason Heroic isn't tier 1.
What do you guys want to see?
"+2 - Tap target creature and then untap another target creature." That's just a different version of Ral's +1
It could be something like this:
Ajani, Pridemage 2GW
+1: Put a 2/2 Green and White Cat token with vigilance onto the battlefield
-3: Creatures you control gain Double strike until EoT
-6: You get an emblem with "whenever you cast a creature spell, you may gain 5 life"
Starting Loyalty: 4
This adds in green/whites tokens, green's mana ramp, and white life gain.

Servo I could see that, except changing the wording of the ultimate to "whenever a creature enters the battlefield under your control" so that way it works with the +1. If that was printed, it would be absolutely ridiculous with Elspeth, Sun's Champion .

I know it's a little bit of lore, but, helps Speculating... Ashiok made a pact with Phenax... Phenax laughed a lot...
Cold it be something like, Ashiok going to Nyx, Xenagos mode, not being a god, but geting a power level over 9 thousand? Nah... I think it's something more clever... Could be something more like transforming Nyx in a world of Nightmares, this, would be awesome.
Like, Dark Chromanticore and stuff... Debuff bestow.

Let's see: I'm hoping for a white four drop. Preferably one doing something with a devotion-based ability that can allow you to kill an opponent like Fanatic of Mogis or Master of Waves or Gary, Gray Merchant of Asphodel
Additionally I'd love for a white two-drop enchantment that gives a moderate buff and possibly some evasion a la Madcap Skills
Stuff that would make Mono-white a viable deck type because honestly you can build a mono-color deck with every other color at this point. Mono-Red is a little less well-known but I wrecked BNG Game Day with it and in theory Mono-Green seems good enough for fnm at least.
I have decks for all the Journey into Nyx gods aside from Kruphix so I'm hoping at least one of those is good enough to be playable.
aaand Hoping Ajani is good for my Selesnya-playing buddy.

What you were responding to and the answer you responded with, technically implies that you believe Evangel of Heliod fits the criteria of what that guy said he wants. If not then you were just pointing out something completely irrelevant to what he said.

trying to construct mono-white at the moment I've found that it has a good enough pool of 1-3 drops but doesn't really have an "endgame." There's not really any great four drops, the only five drop is the coreset mythic-rare (read as: a pain to acquire because people don't buy coresets a lot): Archangel of Thune
and the six drops Elspeth, Sun's Champion
and Evangel of Heliod
which would require me getting Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx
for ramp.
No really desirable options from my standpoint

well emblems aren't technically on the field and so they wouldn't affect devotion, so it'd be more like "put an enchantment card onto the field, it has a mana cost of GGGGWWWW."

@ abenz419 Gary isn't a 4-drop in the first place. So the only thing they have in common is a devotion-based ETB effect.

no one claimed Gary was a 4 drop EVER, but you are right about one thing. The only thing they have in common is a devotion-based ETB effect. In fact, that's the only reason Gary was ever mentioned in the first place. He said he wants a white 4 drop with an ability similar to Master of Waves , Fanatic of Mogis , and Gray Merchant of Asphodel . So you can see, he never claimed those cards were 4-drops, he just said he wants a white 4-drop with a similar ability. It was just coincidence that Master of Waves and Fanatic of Mogis are 4 drops as well. If he had said he wanted a white 4-drop with a similar devotion based ability as Evangel of Heliod , you wouldn't accuse him of calling the evangel a 4-drop as well would ya?

White already has a few devotion cards, like Acolyte's Reward and Evangel of Heliod , but they aren't as good as some others. That's looking at you, Reverent Hunter

Keranos (UR), Kruphix (UG), and Pharika (BG) are the Gods I have been looking forward to the most. I could be convinced to be excited about Iroas (WR) and Athreos (WB) too.
Personally, I want a zombie that's good for EDH. I really like the design for the Theros returned, but none of them have screamed EDH material for me... yet...

I would love to see some sort of flash land or land card you can play on you opponent's turn. Something along the lines of "-name of land card- enters the battlefield tapped. You may pay 3 life to play -name of land card- during your opponent's main phase. Tap add B or R to your mana pool" or any other color combination.

I don't even think making it legendary would balance it, nor would it coming into play tapped as it would just untap on your turn.

@Servo Yeah white has cards that use the devotion mechanic but they can't really end games in the way that Fanatic of Mogis or Master of Waves can. At the end of the day I really just want a white four-drop that can end games, it could use Heroic or Devotion or Monstrosity for all I care.
And I agree with MisterRoach, being able to play a land on your opponent's turn would let you get too far ahead on mana when your ability to win or lose a game already hinges on your access to mana.

305.3. A player cant play a land, for any reason, if it isnt his or her turn. Ignore any part of an effect that instructs a player to do so.

I could see paying 2 mana to play it on an opponents turn. That way, it stops you from accelerating too much with dorks then flash lands.

I do agree with MisterRoach, it would never be balanced and if it were, it probably wouldn't be worth playing if they tried to balance it.

Yall niggas need Izzet Devotion, Keranos and Dack Fayden, I know Keranos is gonna have an instant/sorcery based ability which means epic experiment might get a new toy.
Dack on the other hand may not be printed since they only made one PW in BTG.
But 2 Izzet planeswalkers would make it SO viable!
With an indestructible god and 2 different walkers, skrew your verdict, Izzet!
