DarkLaw hearing rumors that they are looking to reprint cards on the reserved list. all i can really do is hope.

They won't reprint cards. But as I posted earlier, they could redistribute previously printed cards that they've collected over the years. Zendikar Treasures showed precedence for that kind of thing occuring. I'd be surprised if the entire set was like that, but surely WotC has enough copies to do a masterpiece-esque thing in that form...

I would very much like to see a reprint of Ancient Spider, preferably as an uncommon, since that is a very nice creature that has been largely forgotten due to not having ever been reprinted.

Two more cards that I would like to see reprinted are Privileged Position and Rhystic Study, both of which very much need to be reprinted due to being very expensive.

Ihsan's Shade would also be a very night reprint, because it would be awesome with new artwork (although that is not to say that its original artwork is not awesome, because it is very awesome).
April 30, 2017 9:43 p.m.
Mirri's Guile, Coalition Relic, and Demonic Tutor are other ones that I would like to also see.

If they don't reprint Storm Crow, Imma be REAL pissed.
STORM CROW=GOAT

KingTorg1, both Seacoast Drake and Hovermyr are superior to Storm Crow, so I believe that it would be better to reprint either of those cards, instead.
May 1, 2017 11:56 p.m.
User:DemonDragonJ, the Storm Crow thing is a running gag in the mtg community. They're not serious about wanting a reprint.
May 2, 2017 6:48 a.m. Edited.
Storm crow became a cult card by now. A reprint would still be cool these days xD Even while it sux donkeyballs...

I mean iconic demons, we may get a reprint of all the praetors. I'm hoping we finally see what yawgmoth does and not have it be yawg demon. Personally, I want to see chains of mephistoph. because oh boy fun and interactive gameplay

I really would not be surprised if Storm Crow got a reprint in a common slot. Sure it's become a meme, but it has honestly become iconic because of that.
As for other cards I can see being reprinted:
Lightning Bolt
Dark Ritual
Giant Growth
Rampant Growth
Brainstorm
Ponder
Llanowar Elves
Counterspell
Fact or Fiction
Swords to Plowshares
Oblivion Ring
Serra Angel
Baneslayer Angel
Avacyn, Angel of Hope
Consecrated Sphinx
Sphinx of Uthuun
Lord of the Pit
Griselbrand
Mind Twist
Shivan Dragon
Primordial Hydra

I can see them reprinting Glimpse the Unthinkable. It's the heaviest of hard mill spells, and let's face it, mill isn't very good in any meta. Why keep a card at a $30 price mark for no reason?
May 2, 2017 5:21 p.m.
DemonDragonJ, Seacoast Drake gains your opponent more life when they play Tribute to Hunger. Hovermyr can't be pitched to Force of Will. Storm Crow is strictly better.

Time Warp also is in dire need of a reprint, because it has become very expensive, and nearly any blue deck should have at least one copy of it, in my mind.
May 3, 2017 1:06 a.m.
TheSurgeon, I sadly doubt they will reprint Glimpse the Unthinkable simply because it would be too strong in a limited environment. There is likely going to be cards that interact with the graveyard, especially in black/blue. It becomes just too easy to mill an opponent out in a format where decks are only 40 cards and significantly weaker than constructed. Since most master's sets are designed around limited - I can't see them having it be a balanced part of the set without either shifting it to mythic (to lower its impact) or printing 0 ways to get it back from the yard. Both of which seem pretty sucky.
May 3, 2017 3:08 p.m.
If Dragons are Iconic, does this mean we'll get Bolas and Ugin I wonder?
May 4, 2017 9:55 a.m.
Pffft Storm Crow.
Anyone with any sense knows that Eager Construct is strictly better.
Scrying beats flying.

I am with Argeaux on this one. He brought the glory of Eager Construct into my life. Set will be a punt if its not included.

If that wasn't a dictionary definition of passive-aggressive I don't know what is.

Eladamri's Call and Cromat have never been reprinted, so I would like to see them reprinted in this set, and Worldly Tutor also should be here, as well, since it was left out of Eternal Masters in favor of Green Sun's Zenith.
As for iconic creatures, my predictions are as follows:
Angels: it is very safe to presume that both Serra Angel and Akroma, Angel of Wrath shall be in this set, hopefully, with new artwork for both, and I also would like to see Angelic Arbiter, Shepherd of the Lost, Angel of Jubilation, Pristine Angel, Iridescent Angel, Crypt Angel, Desolation Angel, Angel of Despair, Empyrial Archangel, and Archangel of Thune.
Demons: Lord of the Pit is one of the most iconic demons in the game, but some other excellent choices are Abyssal Persecutor, Archfiend of Depravity, Bloodgift Demon, Butcher of the Horde, Grinning Demon, Havoc Demon, Herald of Torment, Kagemaro, First to Suffer, Kuro, Pitlord, Lord of the Void, and Xathrid Demon.
Sphinxes: it was not until recently that sphinxes started to become powerful and efficient, but, thankfully, there ave been a number of excellent sphinxes made, recently, including Consecrated Sphinx, Conundrum Sphinx, Goliath Sphinx, Guardian of Tazeem, Medomai the Ageless, Sharuum the Hegemon, Sphinx of Jwar Isle, Sphinx of Magosi, Sphinx of the Steel Wind, and Sphinx of Uthuun.
Hydras: as with sphinxes, hydras only recently have been well-designed creatures, so some hydras that I would like to see in this set are Apocalypse Hydra, Domesticated Hydra, Genesis Hydra, Hydra Broodmaster, Hydra Omnivore, Kalonian Hydra, Khalni Hydra, Managorger Hydra, Primordial Hydra, Savageborn Hydra, Ulasht, the Hate Seed, and Vastwood Hydra.
Dragons: there are too many dragons for me too list all of them, but it is safe to presume that Shivan Dragon shall be in this set, hopefully with new artwork, and some of my top choices are Moonveil Dragon, Balefire Dragon, Dragon Tyrant, Ebon Dragon, Mirrorwing Dragon, Moltensteel Dragon, Scourge of Valkas, Stormbreath Dragon, Two-Headed Dragon, Utvara Hellkite, Vampiric Dragon, Viashivan Dragon, and Hellkite Overlord.
Wow, I certainly typed many card names in this post: I hope that I did not miss any.
May 7, 2017 11:14 p.m.
For non-creature spells, I'd love to see Forbid, Winds of Change, Wheel and Deal, Rhystic Study, Phyrexian Altar, the whole tutor cycle (again- this time including Worldly Tutor).

As long as I get a reprint of best Djinn Juzam Djinn I will be happy.
Need to build my Djinn Cheatyface tribal deck.

I'm hoping for a Flusterstorm and/or Mana Drain reprint. Neither one is reserved and prices need to be lower than they are now!

No Vizzerdrix love? We need this misscolored, overcosted, vanillatestfailing piece of crap!
May 18, 2017 7:39 a.m.
Is the set confirmed to be 100% reprints? Cause if not there's a tiny chance for our Legendary Duals
May 18, 2017 2:54 p.m.
00xtremeninja says... #41
Legendary duals? Like the abur dual lands? Not going to happen. Nothing from the reserved list is going to be reprinted
May 18, 2017 3:16 p.m.
It wouldn't be the same card, because it would have the supertype Legendary... So while basically reprinting it, it would not violate their reserve list...
May 18, 2017 3:48 p.m.
I think we would all lose our minds, Zaueski, but I don't think it'll ever happen. Wizard's is already trying to nerf everything to prevent power-creep.

RL includes any functional reprints...
I'd love to see OG art work on these cards!
May 18, 2017 7:52 p.m.
I believe MaRo has stated that "snow" dual lands are functional reprints, but "legendary" dual lands are not.

DemonDragonJ says... #47
I believe that everyone here needs to stop hoping for reprints of the original dual lands, because, even if they were not on the reserved list, they are still too powerful to ever be reprinted (which is why they are on the reserved list). We should instead hope for further reprints of the shocklands, because they are the closest that WotC shall ever come to reprinting the original dual lands, although I am hoping for reprints of the Shadowmoor/Eventide filter lands, because those lands are now terribly expensive.
May 20, 2017 10:08 a.m.
Not all cards on the reserved list are expensive and/or powerful. Look at Roc of Kher Ridges. Nothing extraordinary, just a 3/3 French vanilla. except its on the reserved list. Interestingly. whilst Fork is on the reserved list, it has not prevented the printing of the likes of Reverberate or Increasing Vengeance.
The filter lands from that aren't that expensive (except Twilight Mire). But they probably shouldn't cost as much as a shock land...

Guftders, another card that I believe has no reason to be on the reserved list is Thunder Spirit, which is a very awesome card, making its inclusion on the list very tragic. If not for power level or monetary cost, why would a card be on the reserved list? Is that not the reason for the reserved list existing?
Vergil_Redgrail says... #1
At $9.99 MSRP, I think we can be assured that nothing on the RL is getting printed, for those of you thinking they might reprint them anyway.
