I'm Inspired to give old cards a second look

In case you haven't seen the new Born of the Gods Spoilers, here they are:

The Johnny, Combo Player in me is particularly intrigued by the new "Inspired" mechanic, as it seems like one that might force players to reconsider old cards (kind of like how no one played Nightveil Specter pre-Devotion, but now it's one of the top-played cards in Standard), especially with one of the spoilers resembling an Inspired Dark Confidant .

Any thoughts on lesser-played cards that could abuse this mechanic? Here are some ideas I thought of:

-Prophet of Kruphix is already gaining popularity, but is still pretty niche, and seems tailor-made for this mechanic.

-Grove of the Guardian 's drawback of having to tap two creatures could be an upside.

-Devout Invocation is still ridiculously expensive, but interesting.

-Springleaf Drum wasn't raising any eyebrows, but now you might think twice (not an old card, well yes it is, but still).

-Ready / Willing could be amazing, especially since your mana dorks will be ready to pay any costs associated with using an Inspired ability.

-Ral Zarek could trigger an Inspired with every plus and set up another one.

-Gridlock might not be just an expensive Fog anymore

-Triton Tactics seems doubly Inspiring.

-Heck, what about Hidden Strings ?

-And of course, Heliod, God of the Sun will still be the least played mono-colored God.

One more: Strionic Resonator , although that card is OP as is.

i think Prophet of Kruphix is perfect for the Inspired cards, since your lands also get untapped - even if you chose to get all tapped out last turn!

When I read 'old cards' I was expecting pre-urza's saga cards. :(

I'm excited to see what someone can do with a cheap tap ability and [Umbral Mantle] I feel like there is some silly infinite combo in there somewhere.

@gufymike and Fluffybunny: This forum doesn't necessarily have to be about Standard; you guys are welcome to actually contribute to the conversation.
