If you go to http://gatherer.wizards.com/Pages/Search/Default.aspx?action=advanced&set=[%22Duel%20Decks:%20Jace%20vs.%20Vraska%22] (Gatherer search for Jace vs Vraska; I forgot how links work), they've already got cards up.

Apparently Remand and Future Sight are among the reprints. That's exciting.

Thoughts, anyone?

Welp, looks like i'm signing up for two of these. The Pwalker art may be trash, but new Remand ... Mmmmm....

Probably going to keep one in my sealed product collection though and sell it down the road sometime.

Awesome. I will buy them on the military base at MSRP and tax free. I am sure every other shop will sell them above. I am buying 4 of them.

Before, I was considering this product.

Now, I'm definitely going to pick one up. The value is insane!

Tainted Wood is a great land! Some good cards in here, but nothing so overpowered that it'll make this set unaffordable.

The Jace deck looks like a budget version of his deck on DotP 2014.

Would someone be so kind as to copy/paste the list onto here? School computer has the site blocked (TO's okay though, apparently)/

Give WotC credit, they know how to move product.

It looks like the cards with new art (not counting Jace and Vraska) are Body Double , Future Sight , Night's Whisper , Putrid Leech , and Remand . Other notable cards include Thought Scour , Underworld Connections , Nekrataal , Ohran Viper , Acidic Slime , Aeon Chronicler , and Control Magic .

I have been saving $50 since three or four months ago to get two of these, and now that I am certain that a cheaper Remand exists in this dual decks, I simply can't wait any longer. Jace, Architect of Thought and Remand in the same deck together, MSRP $20? I must have my two copies of this product now! But in all seriousness, this post just made my night. Thank you. I am also happy to know that Underworld Connections is in the Vraska the Unseen deck. Just good value all over this deal, pricewise, and personal value.

Some pretty good cards. The rares aren't the best. Here's the list of things people are probably interested in (for those that can't or don't feel like clicking the link):

Acidic Slime
Body Double
Dread Statuary
Future Sight
Halimar Depths
Jace, Architect of Thought
Jace's Ingenuity
Jace's Mindseeker
Jace's Phantasm
Memory Lapse
Nekrataal
Ohran Viper
Phantasmal Bear
Reaper of the Wilds
Remand
Spawnwrithe
Spelltwine
Tainted Wood
Thought Scour
Tragic Slip
Underworld Connections
Vinelasher Kudzu
Vraska the Unseen

Seems to be a lot of stuff in favor of Jace in this one.

For those interested in the flavor text, like me, Body Double , Consume Strength , Future Sight , Memory Lapse , Nekrataal , Night's Whisper , Pulse Tracker , Putrid Leech , and Remand all got new flavor texts. The one where Jace is speaking is Memory Lapse ("To sculpt a mind" is probably the best way to start off flavor text from Jace, ever). The ones where Vraska is speaking are Consume Strength , Nekrataal , Night's Whisper , Pulse Tracker , and Putrid Leech .

Yay, I am terribly happy with this product. Can't wait to get them.

Great. I wonder if the walmart I usually have to go to to get the duel decks will even get these things. They never got the grixis 2013 deck thanks to that dang True-Name Nemesis and the others. Remand (a $17 uncommon might i add) and a Jace, Architect of Thought who is sitting at $20 in the same deck!?!?!?!? Wow way to go WoTC.

Bellock86 - My Walmart had Mind Seize... after a few months...

Otherwise I'm pretty excited about these decks. Despite the value, it seems like it would be fun to have them facing off.

SharuumNyan says... #17

A lot of places have Mind Seize still, because Wizards printed extra copies of all the Commander decks.

February 25, 2014 10:21 p.m.

These look awesome. I'm really happy Reaper of the Wilds made it into Vraska's deck. I was hoping for Jace's deck to be U/W as I buy intro and vs. decks for my gf and I to play fairly against eachother and she likes to play White :/
I had no idea military bases would sell these... thanks gnarlicide for mentioning that as I'm sure my lgs wouldnt sell MSRP and in a big city, Walmarts/Targets get raided for things like this and the 2013 Mind Seize

I was going to buy it just to get cheap Vraska and Jace copies but now Remand is being printed in it i may have to grab 2 of them. Considering the price of the pack there's quite a few nice cards in there.

Baycer says... #20

is it just me or is Deathrite Shaman getting banished in that Remand art?

i live Ohran Viper ive been meaning to get one for a while

overall i definitely think i will be getting one of these, it seems to be good value, and has a lot of cards i can use.

February 26, 2014 8:13 a.m.

Octrate says... #21

@Baycer: I can confirm what you said about the Remand art. I guess this is how Deathrite Shaman from modern was banned from modern.

February 26, 2014 8:21 a.m.

beakedbard says... #22

It does look like its him being banished. On a side note with that card Zoltan Boros can't be that artists real name it must be an alias. Reminds me too much of dude where's my car then a second name of Boros if that is his real name that's epic.

Jay says... #23

He's done a ton of MtG art for a long time. I've seen his collabs with Gabor Sazinski (spelling?) dating back to the Lorwyn days, and possibly before for all I know.

February 26, 2014 11:53 a.m.

Baycer says... #24

Zoltan Boros has done a lot of work in a number of different places, almost always does collabs with Gabor Szikszai. a quick gatherer search shows he has done 161 pieces for wizards starting with Old ravnica, he has also done work with the new online CCG hearthstone.

February 26, 2014 12:04 p.m.

This deck is worth more than its selling price, so it's definitely a good investment. Seeing that True-Name Nemesis is now more valuable than the Commander deck itself, I expect a similar effect in which people will be buying this in droves for Remand and Jace, Architect of Thought .

P.S. @Baycer: That's an interesting observation, it would make sense flavor-wise.

Rhinowarrior says... #26

Wait so they r keeping that shatty jace art?

February 26, 2014 4:31 p.m.

Octrate says... #27

Yes, they're keeping the art. No, I really don't think Jace's art is that shitty.

February 26, 2014 7:17 p.m.

Jay says... #28

I actually like the new Vraska. I love the set symbol, too.

February 26, 2014 7:31 p.m.

Rhinowarrior says... #29

Your right.. it's not really shitty. I was just hoping for something new:/ That art while notbterrible is still boring. An it looks outdated. I guess we shall see how the actual card is. I may be wrong.

February 26, 2014 10:11 p.m.

Rhinowarrior says... #30

Oh dear it is new. I don't know why I thought it was old art. The old art still looks better though:(
