Well, it was about time to start with the Magic Origins FNM Promos, and they begin in January with quite a stinker in my opinion. Love the art, and I do play Nissa's Pilgrimage, but not a card I want to see as an FNM promo.

it'll be cool for commander decks. I'll certainly be playing one.

I prefer my original print in foil for my commander deck.

Its much better then some of the other promos we've been getting! This is a great card and has cool new art.

I play the card in standard, so though it's not a great money card I'm excited for it!

That is very nice artwork, but I really do not like how nearly every FNM promo is a card that is already legal in standard at the time of the promo's printing; that is very annoying. Why cannot WotC print cards that have not been reprinted in a long time as FNM promos? That would be a great way to reprint difficult to obtain cards for modern, EDH, or possibly even legacy or vintage (that are not too expensive or reserved), without re-introducing them to standard, so why is WotC not taking advantage of that possibility?

they did modern staples over the summer, with Path to Exile, Serum Visions. I don't think they want to overdo that.
