So with Theros and BNG both having reprints from lorwyn (Springleaf Drum and Thoughtseize ) what is the chance that another card from lorwyn will be reprinted, this time in Journey into nyx?

Maybe in the next block or core set. Faeries don't even exist on Theros.
Bitterblossom would also be very powerful in Standard. Between that, DRS, and the shocks, we'd basically be playing Modern Lite.

Mono-black devotion doesn't need Bitterblossom . Honestly, it's one of those cards I'm not sure they want to have in Standard again, ever. I think we're due for a Remand reprint, though. It's a fair card, but its price is obscene for an uncommon.

The issue with reprinting Bitterblossom (outside on Modern Masters 2) is that it has the card type of tribal. - I've read a few times that WotC does not expect to be reusing that card type/mechanic any time soon (due to confusion for new players, and how it interacts with certain cards). This isn't to say that they never will, but it would involve producing a set which uses it... thus likely excluding Core sets, or any set in the near or foreseeable future.

Rayenous, they could errata it, if they really wanted to.

If they do, it will effect it's play in Modern... mainly thinking of Tarmogoyf getting that extra +1/+1 from a card type that's otherwise rarely played.

Daybreak coronet and damnation. They wanted an enchantment block impact why not go into summer and fall with enterial armour and Daybreak with unflintching courage. Shack it up for ravnicas exit from standard.

A Damnation reprint would make myself and a LOT of people happy, but I have a feeling it's more likely to be reprinted for the new From The Vault: Annihilation. Hopefully it sees print there AND an upcoming set.

I agree that Daybreak Coronet would be awesome. It would finally push mono-white and GW decks into a competitive state. It'll be amazing with the Heroic mechanic.

Most of the reprints were inspired to fill perceived holes or because of synergies with new mechanics. Thoughtseize
was meant as a black way to kill Gods and Planeswalkers since they don't have tools that can otherwise destroy or exile them, Springleaf Drum
is an Inspired enabler.
They could print a new Bitterblossom without Tribal if they wanted to, one that is functionally identical otherwise. Look at Kodama's Reach and Cultivate , for example. I don't think they would do it though; I think it would get costed 1BB instead.

I don't think reprints necessarily need to be limited to Lorwyn. If you look at the last few sets/blocks/products, WOTC has taken to reprinting Modern staples. I'll admit Springleaf Drum seems to have been done more for limited and inspired because it isn't really hard to find, but the principle still stands. Shocks, Thoughtseize , and Scavenging Ooze were all reprinted for Modern, and MMA reprinted tons of stuff.
If there's a reprint in JOU, it will probably be aimed at filling a void in Standard without overpowering the format. What's missing or underrepresented in Standard?
