Really love the card. He will boost izzet up a whole lot in the current state.

He will easily be fun in EDH.Also in terms of standard I think this guy will easily find a home in RWU control.

Once Journey is released I believe RWU control will start seeing tons and tons more play.

(I would link the picture of him, but I have no clue how, so thanks for anyone who could do so.)

This is just my opinion and where I am but I dont see RWU comming into fruition this block I think esper will just be strictly better with the planeswalkers. I have yet to see anyone play RWU around me so I cant see its spot in the meta but it could I just dont see it personally. Keranos is good tho just straight up no downfall.

The best part of it is the versatility for deck types.

R/U typically works with a lot of Instant and Sorcery spells. - Often this limits cards like this as it will often say "Instant of Sorcery"... since this says "non-land", it really means that this can work with creature based decks, or spell based decks (heck, it can even be an artifact deck, or an enchantment deck, and still work).

I was worried that Keranos was going to work only with Instant and Sorcery spells... which would have hindered it, as you would never get it's devotion.

I like the design and balance of this card. Not broken... not useless.

Grixis control will like this guy. He either will draw you past lands that you will need or deals with your opponents smaller creatures. He doesn't really need to be a creature to be any good, which isn't true of many of the gods. Definitely something to look for in Standard.

thank you actiontech much appreciated dude.

Also, this guy is going to look so awesome foiled.

Anyone have any opinions on whether it would be stupid to preorder this guy now? or tough it out for a few months and let the price drop?

Not gonna lie, as a die hard izzet fan my credit card is screaming now.

You're welcome. I don't think a pre-order is necessary, especially at $20 (SCG's price.) He's not going to dominate any meta so you should have little trouble trading for copies once everyone opens their booster boxes.

This guy is going to fit in just fine with some ideas for American control: Dictate of the Twin Gods, the amplifier that Boros Reckoner was missing.

Esper isn't going to have time to Thoughtseize when it's getting it's face burned off!... sorry maybe that's a little over the top.

The day Esper doesn't have time to deal with a 5-drop that doesn't do anything the turn it hits the field is the day I eat a Griselbrand .

Usually delicious. I often find they have a little too much gristle. I think it depends on what brand you buy.

Keranos has already dropped on SCG from $25 to $20. I'd definitely wait to acquire him, should be around $15 come release and dip below $10 in the following months.
