I wish it would be!
If I had to speculate what it would be, I'd say a Mardu deck.

I don't think it'll be Mardu (or Jeskai) - they got their time in the sun with the duel decks - giving one of them the Event deck would be repetitive.

The point of the event decks are to be FNM competitive so personally a Mardu deck would make sense to me, but yeah what you're saying makes a lot of sense.

The image on the front of the box is Mardu Skullhunter so I'm betting that card is in there, thus one color is black and the three clans that run black are Sultai, Abzan, and Mardu

it isnt even Mardu its orzhov. Only card from Khans in the sideboard is Despise. hmmm.
I like the warrior theme it could be fun so long as you can avoid being wiped.

I think the event decks are a step up from the intro decks but still not on the same competitive level as FNM ready decks though.
I do really like some of the cards in the deck though! I think that Bloodsoaked Champion , Pain Seer , Caves of Koilos , Silence the Believers , Tormented Hero , Bile Blight , and Drown in Sorrow are all pretty good cards. Plus those cards are the ones that are really wroth a good chunk of change so it's cool to see them in an event deck in my opinion. It might help drive down Bloodsoaked Champion down from being like a $4-5 card.

it actually has a lot of potential to be turned into a thing you're getting some pretty staple cards included in this most of which have been outlined above.

I would get that deck only for the Caves of Koilos and Scoured Barrens . Other than that, I could pass.

I like this deck, if I didn't already have a BW aggro list that was mostly complete outside of Bloodsoaked Champion s, a second Grim Haruspex second/third Caves of Koilos and a smattering of KOT uncommons and commons I would actually be pretty tempted to pick this deck up.
The warrior focus is interesting and I wonder if I should or could push my deck to play with a few more warriors
