Personally i think that white could use some transmute and its not too far from the abilities white can do. It has things like Idyllic Tutor for an enchantment toolbox, but it would be pretty cool imo

When would we see this mechanic happen? Core 2016 at the earliest, but more likely not in the next six years or so.

we just came off of a set with convoke, originally a selesnya mechanic, in every color. nothing is too ridiculous for wizards

I mean there is Dimir Machinations but my point is its not exactly out of whites wheelhouse ( points to above comment)

Touche haha, but i just thought it would be cool to see this mechanic not really expecting it to get made for white in the near future. Wedge colored borderposts are actually something i would actually like to see in the near future preferably kahns but thats a whole different issue lol

Wizards R&D hates shuffling.
If players shuffle too much, the viewers at home lose interest, stop following coverage and Wizards loses money. In theory.

I dont think it would be competitive and played in many tier 1 decks like tutoring a Mirran Crusader or Brimaz, King of Oreskos would be cool but kinda slow

In the article by Rosewater he says that in Fall 2016 Next year's core set and "Louie" (spring '15) will rotate out of standard, leaving Three two-set blocks.

So since this years core set was M15 (Magic 2015), then next years core set will be M16 (Magic 2016).

Transmute is a U/B ability specific to Dimir. Why would they make white transmute cards? It wouldn't fit.
