So, I'll admit that I don't have a source, but I heard somewhere that if monoblack hadn't been so prevalent before M15 came out, we would have seen a totally different Liliana... Yup, I suspect that Wizards wanted to print Liliana of the Veil
in M15 (all of you MBD players, this is why we can't have nice things.) If any of you guys have the source, please let me know.
So, what about Lili in Khans block? Could we be seeing more of her soon? I, for one, would LOVE to have a chance to own her.
It's definitely crazy TheAnnihilator, I agree with u there. It's definitely crazy. But the reprint I feel May or May not be to help out Modern Players that want to build Rock.

I don't think that Wizards would have considered giving Lili a M15 print if they weren't looking to reprint her in a Standard set. If they don't want to reprint her, why spend so much time testing to see if they COULD reprint her in M15?
What you say about storyline, that's an interesting thought. You're right, it wouldn't seem too fitting to reprint her if the storyline progeressed, but I could envision a reprint of her as long as she's still tracking down those demons, like Griselbrand . However, I'm not terribly deep into the storyline of the game, I just have a small amount of "general" knowlege, so I can't really speak much to the lore of the game.

TheAnnihilator I'm the same way. I have general idea about the storyline, but I don't have much interest in the articles/books that deal exclusively with it. She would fit perfectly in M15 from a thematic standpoint though. You have The Chain Veil and Garruk, Apex Predator - those both seem like one-offs for M15 - that tie directly into that specific incarnation of Lili. So I suspect that testing her was a result of the flavor rather than a strong desire to fit her into another set.
But I do hope you're right. I really want to have the pleasure of using Liliana of the Veil .

See that's the part that I don't think follows. Just because she was considered for M15 doesn't tell me that they'll be looking to reprint her in another Standard set. This seems especially true if she's given a new iteration in Khans. At that point her storyline will have progressed, and Liliana of the Veil will be an outdated version.
I would love to be wrong on this, though. I never had the opportunity to play with the card, and I've yet to get into modern (that price tag would keep me from playing her there anyway).
