So we know the green and blue Avatars for M15. How about the Black, White, and Red ones? I'm guessing Black is going to be the Soul of Innistrad, Red will end up as the Soul of Mirrodin. That just leaves White, might it be Lorwyn/ Shadowmoor?

Theros will be white. Innistrad will be black. As for the red one, I don't think mirrodin had a big red thing going on. Berhaps Shandalar? Dominaria had Borgarden. Or we could see the new plane, Tarkir. It's a plane ravaged by war and it used to be full of dragons.

With promo for Dual of the Planeswalker already revealed, I kind of want to think it won't be a full cycle like I wanted it to be :/

I also kind-of don't want to it to be a cycle because if these first two are par of the course then I would prefer we get some actual good mythics to be in this set

Actually when I first saw the blue and green one I cringed for the same reason, but at same time it'd be silly to not make it a cycle.

Okay, so Innistrad for Black, and Theros for White. Any speculation on what they might do? Would a tutor for Innistrad be too powerful in comparison to the other two souls we've seen? Honestly I think Zendikar kind of sucks in comparison to Ravnica, I would have preferred to see ramp over token creatures.
The Theros one would have something to do with enchantments. Maybe allow you to play a enchant creature from your graveyard for 3WW?

I hope not.
Unburial Rites on a stick would be waaaaaaay too broken.
I still remembers the horrors of Innistrad Reanimator...

Okay, in hindsight, not having a cycle makes a bit of sense if they're shooting for clash decks, which i believe these two are the feature of? Don't take it as fact though.

The planes present in Duels of the Planeswalkers 2015 are Shandalar, Zendikar, Ravnica, Theros, and Innistrad. Ravnica is confirmed to be Blue and Zendikar is confirmed to be Green. I imagine that Shandalar is Black, Innistrad is White, and Theros is Red.

Shandalar is Red, Innistrad is Black, and Theros is White...

Then again, Shandalar had the Chain Veil, and the Onakke Catacombs card make all creatures (or permanents?) black. Innistrad can only be Black or White, I think that's agreeable. Theros seems like it could be Red or White.... I suppose I'll have to give in and say white for Theros, since Heliod is the self-appointed head-honcho god, and all 3 Polis are Blue-White, Red-White, and Green-White (with less focus on the Necropoleis and the wild)

Yeah theros is most likely white and innistrad is most likely white. My guess is that innistrad, the "graveyards matter" block, will be about graveyards and theros, the "enchantments matter" block, will be about enchantments.
Although, if you look at the ones spoiled, they aren't really designed like that. New phyrexia was "artifacts matter" or "poison counters matter" but it gives indestructible, ravnica was "multicolored matters" but it draws cards, and zendikar was "lands matter" and it makes tokens, so at this point, it's probably best to assume that the souls aren't really designed around what the plane was designed.

Theros is confirmed for white and Innistrad is confirmed for black.
From the mothership:
It was Shawn Main's idea during design to make a cycle of creatures that embodied the various planes of existence in Magic ... The colors even mapped out pretty wellZendikar was green, Innistrad was black, Theros was white. Ravnica could go anywhere, but blue seemed the most natural due to Jace's recent ascendance to the Living Guildpact. We even threw in a sixth member of the cyclean artifact that represents the twisted world of New Phyrexiabut red was proving problematic.

Sweet! Now we can hope that the abilities are worth being on mythic creatures (up to this point, I think they're pretty good).
Also, I reread Soul of Ravnica, and I see now that it says "for each color among permanents you control", so it definitely is designed around multicolored, which is freaking awesome.
As was mentioned before, I wish that the Soul of Zendikar was based around ramp too, specifically because its more fun, more flavorful, and more subtly powerful.
As for the Soul of Shandalar, the ability seems a bit weak in comparison to the other ones. Had it been six damage divided as you choose (or even five, since six damage could be too powerful in that case), it would have been an all-star card, imo.
The Soul of New Phyrexia seems more like a soul of darksteel, and it could have been cooler if it was something based around artifacts or based around infect (although, I'm sure theyre trying to avoid infect because the majority of players shun it as bad design).
I guess now we wait for Theros and Innistrad... :3

The problem with making the zendikar one around ramp is that it'd draw too many Primeval Titan comparisons. As a 6/6 for 6 with an inferior keyword, the only way to make people happy would be to make the ability better than the titan's, or make it different, which is what they've done. They couldn't make it better, as P-Titan screwed with standard, and is banned in EDH. I think the good souls are Zendikar and Shandalar. They've both got really powerful abilities. If the Theros one or the Innistrad one has lifelink, then i'm gonna make soul dredge.

I like the Soul of New Phyrexia, seems like it could be useful in EDH artifact deck. As a slight digression I am psyched to see Ob-Nixilis the Unchained as a rare for the set.

I believe that one of them was mentioned to be Theros, and I believe that the other two are innistrad and mirrodin.
