MaRo's article got spoiled early, so we have some SPICY Previews with "new" mechanics!
TL;DR: Menace is replacing Intimidate & Landwalk, Prowess is now evergreen primary in Blue secondary in Red and maybe tertiary in White, and Protection is now deciduous used only as necessary.

Magicrafter They're already doing 10 dual-colored uncommons in a Core Set, multicolored rares is a bit much to ask. Otherwise, as I mentioned, momo-

Guys, imagine casting Collected Company into 2x Knight of the White Orchid?
Also, White Weenie now has tons of support with Kytheon, archangel of tithes, etc. If it isn't a deck, it's not our fault.

Especially when they go around gloating they packed it after saying they bought a pakc on Sunday and didn't crack it until Tuesday. It hit me right in the feels.

Hopefully they will give me some decent Knights to top play with. A Woodland Bellower into a Leatherback Baloth seems exciting for mono 
stompy.

That Demonic Pact doesn't seem bad in mono-B. Heck, just give us a Thoughtseize reprint. We are on Theros.

I am surprised that Knight of the White Orchid gets a reprint. I thought tutoring lands that ETB untapped wasn't something they liked to do anymore. Not to mention that ramp isn't usually in white's slice of the color pie.

So uh, peeps, Battlefield Forge and Caves of Koilos are listed as 244 and 245. Llanowar Wastes is listed as 248. Shivan Reef and Yavimaya Coast are listed as 251 and 252.
That potentially means that we will have more lands coming right? Unless someone can correct me.

252-272 would be the basic lands.
potentially since lands generally come in batches of 5, we will have 5 more lands (at least) at numbers 243, 246,247,249,250.
I saw in another thread that the Alara trilands fit those numbers perfectly.

Ragon_Wolfbane, at 2 CMC it wouldn't 'see play' in the Death and Taxes, it would overrun everything else. There's a reason Thalia is legendary. ;)

Well Boza, that one ain't Modern, so hatebears just found Thalia 4-8.
As for me? My pegasus deck just got a new card, and the price of my knight deck will go down slightly, though Knight wasn't particularly expensive.

This has no place especially in modern, where 90% of what you do revolves around small, efficient creatures like Dark Confidant, midrange beasts like Siege Rhino and a combination of the two like Gurmag Angler. Sure, the effect is not completely wasted but modern D&T needs a 1 drop and its 3 drops are already overcrowded.

Holy smeg-balls, some of those new elves are looking awesome. Mana dork with upside for attacks, 3 power for 2 mana, and a card advantage engine. BG elves will be a thing
