RWB

Enchantment

Whenever a nontoken creature you control attacks, put a 1/1 red Goblin creature token onto the battlefield tapped and attacking.

Sacrifice Mardu Ascendancy: Creatures you control get +0/+3 until end of turn.

Mardu Ascendancy

Looks like we have a cycle here.

I like how this is pretty much a big "F" you to Anger of the Gods

People, buy rabblemasters NOW! RWB Rabblemaster is coming your way!

I like how you can get multiple token triggers per attack. Keeps you from overextending, continues to put the pressure on, and protects against many of the most common removal spells.

Don't think it's quite as strong as Temur Ascendancy but I think it definitely has potential. If you're playing Boss Sligh, this could be a win con, and, like Stone_Munkee said, a way around Anger.

This was also translated, so its abilities could still change. Not saying it's likely, just putting that out there.

Wait, no it wasn't, that was Anafenza. Derp.

This card is ridiculous. I mean, what...

You can even make your guys unkillable on the turn you want them to die, and extras of the card aren't useless.

i feel like this card is slightly out of place in mardu. they're all about speed and haste, so the +0/+3 doesn't match their style. honestly it's a good idea, keeping the 1/1s alive, but an odd flavor addition

I like this more than the Temur Ascendency. The +0/+3 pump does seem out of character (and very useful).

Perfect for a BWR Aggro deck with Goblin Rabblemaster and Foundry Street Denizen . The +0/+3 is extremely good against Anger of the Gods and Drown in Sorrow . Hope the others are as good as this one!

I just wish so much that the 0/3 bump was in abzan, purely for doran edh, but oh well.

I like it generates a large amount of tokens for attackers and protects from Anger of the Gods i was wondering if aggro would be able to do anything against that card in the future and there we go.

September 2, 2014 11:11 a.m.

They did print a new wrath effect, so I'm not sure the Anger of the Gods protection matters. End Hostilities is good enough that control will play that and not Anger.

Wish it didn't have the non token part.

September 2, 2014 1:28 p.m.

Well that would be just ridiculous. The card would be banned in at least one format.

@GlistenerAgent: Two turns later is a LONG TIME to survive hastygoblinrushdeath. Especially if you were on the draw.

September 2, 2014 6:51 p.m.

Sorry, I was thinking of Abzan Ascendancy , which would just be an infinite combo. This would be pretty bad too, and I think you're underestimating doubling your horde every turn, especially if you're not playing End Hostilities .

Card is underwhelming... just play ole Rabbles.

September 2, 2014 10:45 p.m.

+0/+3 wards off Anger of the Gods , Bile Blight , Drown in Sorrow , Magma Jet , Lightning Strike , Magma Spray , Polymorphist's Jest and most Setessan Tactics . This is significant and addresses a lot of problems for aggro. It allows you to over extend into the best answers and finish.

Will it see play? It should at least out of the sideboard.

instead of commenting on a thread almost 2 months old just to ask a question, you should go to the Q&A section linked at the top of the page
