MM15 Possibility All Mythics Revealed?

Spoilers, Rumors, and Speculation forum

Posted on April 26, 2015, 9:02 a.m. by Dr_Jay

10 hours ago, a user on MTGSalvation posted this. His list consisted of...

Mythics:

Tarmogoyf

Dark Confidant

Clique

Kozilek

Ulamog

Emrakul

All is Dust

Tezzeret the Seeker

Elesh Norn

Iona

Splinter Twin

Mox Opal

Karn

Rares:

All 5 commands will be reprinted

Noble hierarch will be reprinted

Goblin Guide will be reprinted

Fulminator Mage will be reprinted

I would not believe this, however, he has posted a similar thing 2 years ago for the original MM here

So, what do you guys think? Do you think that it is real? Fake? Do you approve of this list?

lemmingllama says... #2

All of those cards are things that need reprinting, so I wouldn't complain if it was the list. The only thing I'm maybe iffy on is Tezzeret the Seeker , and Splinter Twin being a mythic rather than a rare.

April 26, 2015 9:07 a.m.

HolyFalcon says... #3

Switch Twin and Heirarch, and that seems likely.

April 26, 2015 9:16 a.m.

The_Raven says... #4

I think it is fake. Why would they print Tezzeret? He doesn't see that much modern play.

Goblin Guide as a rare? I think it will be mythic. Why would they change it's rarity?

April 26, 2015 9:24 a.m.

EndStepTop says... #5

Changing Goblin Guide's rarity from rare to rare...?

April 26, 2015 9:34 a.m.

LioAME3 says... #6

The only reason that I could see Splinter Twin being mythic, is that both Pestermite and Deceiver Exarch being in the set and Wizards would want to limit the amount of infinite creature wins during drafting.

Also 6 possible mythics from Zendikar block WHEW!!!

April 26, 2015 9:50 a.m.

The_Raven says... #7

Oh, wow, wait, Goblin Guide is not Mythic? Sorry for my post then. I misread the card.

April 26, 2015 9:55 a.m.

slovakattack says... #8

As annoying as it is, Changing Twin from rare to mythic seems like a Wizard's kinda thing to do, yanno? :P

The Tezzeret is more than a little odd, but there's nothing so out of the ordinary in the list that I'm not inclined to believe it.

If this list is true, then there won't be a crap mythic in the entire set, which is gratifying. At 10 bucks a pack, there shouldn't be a crap mythic at all.

April 26, 2015 10:24 a.m.

kintighd says... #9

That seems like a safe list.

April 26, 2015 10:24 a.m.

Chubbub says... #10

No Batterskull? Seems unlikely

April 26, 2015 10:24 a.m.

kintighd says... #11

Batterskull was just a gp promo, I think.

April 26, 2015 10:26 a.m.

EndStepTop says... #12

Just had Batterskull as the GP promo, we might not need one. Sword of Fire and Ice would be nice.

April 26, 2015 10:26 a.m.

mpeach1 says... #13

I wouldn't be surprised to see Batterskull, even with the gp promo

April 26, 2015 10:51 a.m.

Dr_Jay says... #14

Ehh.... mpeach1 we have 6 colorless mythics. Maybe not, and it's only around 15.

April 26, 2015 10:54 a.m.

I can see Tezzeret being in for the same reason that Sarkhan Vol and Progenitus were in the last Modern Masters: They're cards that appeal to more casual players. Which isn't actually bad.

April 26, 2015 10:57 a.m.

slovakattack says... #16

ItchiUchiha117: I would have far preferred Agent of Bolas :[

April 26, 2015 11:30 a.m.

HolyFalcon says... #17

Wait, that's not Agent of Bolas? :(

April 26, 2015 11:48 a.m.

Dr_Jay says... #18

Yeah Magicrafter :/

April 26, 2015 12:18 p.m.

MindAblaze says... #19

Tezzeret could also cap off an affinity draft archetype

April 26, 2015 1:03 p.m.

DBCooper says... #20

I'm honestly curious to see what commons and uncommons make the list.

April 26, 2015 1:47 p.m.

Runlue says... #21

Subscribing

April 26, 2015 1:48 p.m.

The_Raven says... #22

Wait... Why is there only 13 mythics? Isn't 15 the normal amount of mythics?

April 26, 2015 1:57 p.m.

GoldGhost012 says... #23

If this is true, then it's an interesting list. If not, then it's still an interesting list.

April 26, 2015 2:18 p.m.

buildingadeck says... #24

I was really hoping for a Snappy reprint. It's only seen one print in Innistrad...

April 26, 2015 2:36 p.m.

buildingadeck

That's WHY it's not being reprinted. MM15 only goes through New Phyrexia.

April 26, 2015 3:14 p.m.

buildingadeck says... #26

Ah, I didn't know that. Thanks for the information.

April 26, 2015 3:25 p.m.

I don't see those cards up on any other spoiler website, I doubt it's real.

But who knows.

April 26, 2015 7:10 p.m.

Minelia5 says... #28

wait what? slovakattack, where are you picking these up for 10 bucks? My store sold the last mm for 20 bucks each! Am I getting ripped off? I only bought 1 pack ever cause it seemed really expensive!

April 26, 2015 7:17 p.m.

Minelia5 says... #29

Wow I was getting ripped off!

April 26, 2015 7:18 p.m.

Minelia5 their initial price is $10, but they're probably going to be more than that unless the set is trash.

April 26, 2015 7:24 p.m.

Minelia5 says... #31

ThisIsBullshit cool. Well I just found out that I was getting ripped off from mm1 cause packs were 20 bucks at the store I went 2. I switched to another though so maybe the prices will be more realistic.

April 26, 2015 7:27 p.m.

slovakattack says... #32

Minelia5: The MSRP (read, initial list price) for the MM2 packs is 10 USD. They will be sold for more than that.

The MSRP for MM1 was 8 USD, but the average price for packs of MM1 is 20-25 USD. You weren't getting ripped off.

April 26, 2015 8:45 p.m.

DBCooper says... #33

MSRP = manufacturers 'suggested' retail price.

Suggested price doesn't always match the initial list price. unfortunately, a lot of game shops marked up the prices. Hopefully they keep it a little more reasonable with MM2015.

April 26, 2015 8:52 p.m.

Sleazebag says... #34

Minelia5: A MM pack goes for $20 because they were printed TWO YEARS ago in a very limited print run, so the price has increased over time as the packs are hard to find.

If they were selling the packs for $20 each ON RELEASE, then yes you were getting ripped off. But if you bought them after the print run was over and supply was low, you did not. $20 is the normal price for a MM pack nowadays (and is definitely NOT worth it).

April 26, 2015 9:35 p.m.

I'm calling the urzatron lands in the common/uncommon spot

April 27, 2015 12:19 a.m.

DoritoDust007 says... #36

Just spitballing here, but maybe the other 4 praetors. Ya know, because elesh norn is cool and all but i liked urabrask and vorinclex a bit more.

Hjaltrohir says... #37

MTG Lion thinks this list is totally legit, but I'm not sure. What do you guys think?

April 27, 2015 1:44 a.m.

JRaynor says... #38

Mtg lion is a hack. Just spend some time watching his channel and you'll find the majority of his videos are like this. Sensationalist bologna specifically designed to generate interest but lack any meat. If he had proven himself a reliable and sincere reporter in the past then maybe ... But he has not. This is about as good as anyone's guess.

April 27, 2015 1:56 a.m.

slovakattack says... #39

awesomeguy37: At this point in time, there is no reason to dispute this list. The account that posted this list as a history of accurate leaks (it leaked the list of MM1 two weeks prior to it's release, mirroring this current leak, and was proven correct.) While that itself is not overwhelming proof, since no evidence to the contrary exists, there is little reason to dispute it.

More than that though, few people care to dispute it. It is a very reasonable list, with a lot of solid cards that, if true, will mean that MM2 is chock-full of value. Everyone hopes that this will be the case, so no-one's really trying too hard to do the detective work needed.

tl;dr- Account that spoiled this has spoiled legitimate information in the past, there is no reason to dispute it at the moment.

April 27, 2015 2 a.m.

Hjaltrohir says... #40

JRaynor He said it was the same guy who correctly spoiled MM1 but I don't know, it just doesn't seem like wizards. Also, the complete list only has one planeswalker whereas all big sets have 2 or 3. Could that be a hole in his story?

April 27, 2015 2:01 a.m.

Hjaltrohir says... #41

Never mind, Karn as well.

April 27, 2015 2:01 a.m.

Hjaltrohir says... #42

slovakattack Don't get me wrong, I would love this list to be real. I just don't think wizards would let the set's worst mythic be 15+ Dollars. They haven't done so in the past. That is only a niggling feeling in the back of my mind though, I realise that I have no evidence.

April 27, 2015 2:03 a.m.

CastleSiege says... #43

I think the list is very likely. The user has credit for their accurate leak of MM1 two years ago.

Also, I agree with JRaynor's statement regarding MTG Lion.

April 27, 2015 2:05 a.m.

Hjaltrohir says... #44

CastleSiege I get what you both mean, he is kind of spammy. I just thought that since he believed it enough to put it online on his channel, he considered it fact and although he doesn't do the most factual videos, he has been right about speculation and spoilers in the past.

April 27, 2015 2:07 a.m.

CastleSiege says... #45

For more factual and thought-provoking speculation videos, I usually watch MerfolkMTG or Roxaboxen90's channels.

April 27, 2015 2:26 a.m.

Sleazebag says... #46

I don't understand how anyone can listen to MTG Lion for over 30 seconds without becoming physically ill.

April 27, 2015 7:54 a.m.

klone13 says... #47

Lol couldn't agree more.

April 27, 2015 7:55 a.m.

slovakattack says... #48

awesomeguy37: If it makes you feel any better, MythicSpoilers believed him enough to put up his list on their website, found [Here].(http://mythicspoiler.com/newspoilers.html)

April 27, 2015 8:56 a.m.

GoldGhost012 says... #49

If that list is false, they're gonna look kinda dumb.

April 27, 2015 9:42 a.m.

GoldGhost012 says... #50

Mythic Spoiler, I mean.
