MM15 Possibility All Mythics Revealed?

Spoilers, Rumors, and Speculation forum

Posted on April 26, 2015, 9:02 a.m. by Dr_Jay

10 hours ago, a user on MTGSalvation posted this. His list consisted of...

Mythics:

Tarmogoyf

Dark Confidant

Clique

Kozilek

Ulamog

Emrakul

All is Dust

Tezzeret the Seeker

Elesh Norn

Iona

Splinter Twin

Mox Opal

Karn

Rares:

All 5 commands will be reprinted

Noble hierarch will be reprinted

Goblin Guide will be reprinted

Fulminator Mage will be reprinted

I would not believe this, however, he has posted a similar thing 2 years ago for the original MM here

So, what do you guys think? Do you think that it is real? Fake? Do you approve of this list?

Rayenous says... #1

So... 2 Mythic spots left.
Speculation on them?

I can see Eye of Ugin as being decent support for the Eldrazi Cycle.

But looking at the colors, I see 2x, 2x, 1x, 1x, 1x.

So, perhaps it's possible that the Noble Hierarch and Fulminator Mage, stated to be getting a reprint, could be at Mythic. - This would make it 2x for each color. (I would prefer they both be at Rare... but I wouldn't put it past Wizards to make them Mythic)

Note: Although not likely to occur, I will laugh the first time I see a draft player reveal an Emrakul, the Aeons Torn from a Dark Confidant. - (Lucky them on the pulls... but LOL on playing both!)

slovakattack Its pretty much official now that both Magic and Mythic Spoiler have the lists up. I am so excited for the set now, the mythics all look dope! Rayenous Maybe Mox Opal will be mythic? The last two will almost certainly be lower value though, judging by the current high-value ones.

Dood if it's real boxes are going to be through the roof holy shit

Hjaltrohir says... #4

ThisIsBullshit I know, so glad I preordered one!

mpeach1 says... #5

Wish I would have. Boxes are definitely gonna be high.

ThisIsBullshit says... #6

I do want to see the rest of the set though, don't judge it all on its mythics because you only have a 1 in 8 chance of pulling one.

Hjaltrohir says... #7

I do as well ThisIsBullshit but last time the Commons/Uncommons were fairly solid so I hope it will be the same this time. I am especially hoping for Lightning Bolt and Serum Visions although Remands would be nice as well.

April 27, 2015 1:33 p.m.

ThisIsBullshit says... #8

Lightning Bolt has been printed so many times though

April 27, 2015 1:35 p.m.

Hjaltrohir says... #9

But not recently, and $3-4 is a large amount for such a printed common.

April 27, 2015 1:36 p.m.

Rayenous says... #10

I could see Lightning Bolt being in it... no so much for trying to keep it's price down ($3 is not horrible), nor for making it 'easy for new players to obtain', as there are plenty out there... but simply because as a staple that's played with many of the cards in the rest of the set, it will likely work well in the draft format.

I think that, although there are certain cards they want to reprint, the most important thing is that the set drafts well. - If Lightning Bolt fits it should be in the set.

CastleSiege says... #11

ThisIsBullshit, the odds of pulling a mythic may actually be lower since there's 24 packs to a box instead of the normal 36. The sorting algorithm is probably different because of this.

April 28, 2015 1:22 p.m.

Hjaltrohir says... #12

CastleSiege I think you are guaranteed 2 mythics a box or something, I hope there are fair chances of getting a Mythic though :/

April 28, 2015 3:02 p.m.

slovakattack says... #13

The same math is used on a mythic to pack ratio, I believe, which means that you would be getting an average of 3 mythics a box. This does NOT include possible foil mythics, etc.

im just hoping for Spellskite so i dont have to drop an extra $60 on every other deck i make

April 28, 2015 3:29 p.m.

SimicPower says... #15

I think mythics are really just rares, the only difference being that they appear half as many times on each rare sheet. So there are 2x as many of any rare in existence than mythic.

April 28, 2015 8:57 p.m.

So are these spoilers confirmed by Wizards?

April 29, 2015 11:28 a.m.

lemmingllama says... #17

@ThisIsBullshit Currently no. I think it's next week that spoilers officially start coming out in full force, so we will likely find out then

CuteSnail says... #18

I know I've seen the three titans, All Is Dust and Tezzeret the Seeker on mythic spoilers page but that doesn't mean anything.

They also have twin, still at rare.

April 29, 2015 11:33 a.m.

Boza says... #19

Official spoilers now have Splinter Twin at rare and Spellskite both confirmed:

http://www.mtgsalvation.com/forums/magic-fundamentals/the-rumor-mill/604259-splinter-twin-and-spellskite-tournamentcenter

This means this list is bogus, since it misses the rarity of Twin.

GoldGhost012 says... #20

Now that is interesting.

April 29, 2015 11:45 a.m.

Runlue says... #21

So other than Tezzeret, are there going to be ANY junk rares? Like, at ALL!?

April 29, 2015 11:48 a.m.

Boza says... #22

a $15 rare is not something I would deem junk, but hey.

Also, the list has just been proven wrong, so I would not trust this at all.

April 29, 2015 11:50 a.m.

GoldGhost012 says... #23

I wouldn't say that it's been completely proven wrong, but yeah it looks like there's some incorrect information in there.

April 29, 2015 11:51 a.m.

Sleazebag says... #24

Runlue: We already have the full command cycle.

So Incendiary Command and Profane Command are already confirmed junk rares. Austere Command and Primal Command aren't super value but they are still $5.

April 29, 2015 11:51 a.m.

Runlue says... #25

Well, when I say junk rares, I mean in usefulness. Prices, lord holy I'm totally okay with a $15 card. XD

April 29, 2015 11:51 a.m.

Runlue says... #26

Sleazebag I can probably find usefulness in each of the commands haha.

April 29, 2015 11:52 a.m.

Rayenous says... #27

OFFICIALLY SPOILED:

Splinter Twin - Link HERE (seems slow to load)
Was originally announced on Wizards site HERE that TournamentCenter.com is spoiling a card.

image

Notice..?

NOT Mythic, as was originally 'spoiled'. - I like this. Room for more cards that I think should be Mythic, and makes this more obtainable.
