Moonmist kills walkers

Moonmist will make any of the new walkers except for Nissa flip, and since the loyalty counters are put on when the planeswalker enters, they won't get any cause Moonmist forces them to transform instead of entering transformed. So kinda a silly and awkward trick but if you were running a werewolf deck and your opponent had one of the Origins walkers out you could use it to kill them.
Fun note. If your opponent activates Gideon making him a 4/4, and you cast Moonmist, he'll be downgraded to Kytheon, because Gideon's 0 makes him a Human Soldier.
But yeah, there was really no need to make this thread. It's been talked about Ad Nauseam in the Spoiler thread.

ah ok sorry. i honestly couldn't find the spoiler thread amongst the 2000 other individual threads people have made about Origins cards.
June 20, 2015 1:48 a.m.
Ha ha, that funny. You guys actually expected him to search through hundreds of comments and almost 2 dozen pages just to see if someone had mentioned this previously. HA HA HA that's laughable.
June 20, 2015 2:20 a.m.
@abenz419: Behold! Looking up cards on this site will display a list of comments where that card was linked to:
http://tappedout.net/mtg-card/moonmist/
...including said comments in the main spoiler thread.

Sweet.... so does that mean the next time someone mentions Storm Crow we can hound them to death for not searching the site for Storm Crow first and responding in a thread that already mentioned it before??? Because if not, then your point is irrelevant.
June 20, 2015 11:56 a.m.
No. Use the search function - that's what it's there for. End of story.
June 20, 2015 5:09 p.m.
Ok I'll remember that.
The next time someone post something about Storm Crow without searching the entire site for previous mentions I'll make sure they understand how much of a giant fuck up they are and tell them to search the site first because it's already been talked about and they're just cluttering the front page and that just makes things worse for everyone who can't actually looks beyond that.
Since that seems to be common protocol for this type of situation. Thanks for showing me how to handle this situation guys, way to lead by example!!

I agree with abenz419, actually (though I don't agree with his condescending tone). I still think that combining all spoilers into a general spoiler thread was/is a bad idea for this exact kind of reason, and it doesn't matter whether it's been talked about before in a different thread -- people will demoralize you for necroing anyways.
I feel that this was a valid thread, and despite a mention in the general forum, definitely deserved it's own forum. =\

abenz419 - If you can't tel the difference between an ongoing idle joke and a focused topic of conversation then more for you. Have more straw with your man.
TheAnnihilator - Necroing is completely irrelevant in this case. The discussion we are referring to (when this thread was originally posted) was barely a single page back on the spoiler thread. It was completely fresh and totally not hard to find. This isn't even the second time it's come up - this is the fourth now, all the while the main topic has been easily accessible. I am not saying 'you may never repost a topic of conversation', I am saying 'if you are going to repost do a search just to check whether your question has been answered / the point has been addressed first and then make a decision about whether you want to start a new thread after'. Again, you're misrepresenting procedure. This isn't all or nothing, and this isn't being unreasonable. This is just asking people to have a quick check just to make sure something hasn't been talked about in countless other places before they start their own conversation.
If you are going to restart a conversation or necro then the best thing you can do is show willingness to follow basic procedure by saying 'I searched and I know this has been a topic before BUT' or 'I know this conversation ended a while ago BUT'. Willingness is all it takes.
Also: Can I just point out how exhausting it is when people decide to be belligerent regarding basic forum points coming from someone that is specifically tasked with trying to help out in the forums. I'm not the bloody Gestapo.

Did I not explain this earlier in the week?
The main spoiler thread is for general and ongoing discussion of the entire set, including speculation about unspoiled cards and reactions to new spoilers.
You are perfectly within your rights to begin a new thread to discuss a particular idea in isolation from the rest of the spoiler thread. In fact, I encourage you to do so if the main spoiler thread is, as many aggregate threads tend to be, cluttered with disparate or fast-moving conversations. All I ask is that you check to make sure no previous isolated thread on the topic exists.
@abenz419: Grow up.
June 21, 2015 10:07 a.m.
I just want to point out that if you used the search function that you've been talking about, you'll see that the Moonmist conversation on the main spoiler page took place 2 days prior to this being posted. At least according to the time stamps the site is showing me right now. That means that this conversation wasn't only a page back like you claim. And after 2 days of other conversation going on inside that thread, it definitely wasn't fresh either.
So now the questions comes up... do you know how to use the search feature that you guys keep bringing up? Or.... were you just willing to say whatever made me look bad and you look like you knew what you were talking about?
FYI: there is nothing easily accessible about the main spoiler forum. Being able to search up something that's already been discussed doesn't make it accessible. It simple means I can find things already said, it doesn't make joining in on the discussion any easier. Especially when that initial conversation happens 2 days prior like in the case of the OP here.
June 21, 2015 10:39 a.m.
Yeah but then you don't have to make a new thread posting about it if it's evident that the discussion has happened......
Edit: By June 19th only 2 pages had gone by since it was discussed. That's not even talking about the multiple other forum posts that had been made in the mean time.

I like how op is totally fine with the request but others aren't and yes it was a request. Not an order or a demand. Just a request. Let's leave it at that

When I said "grow up"? That wasn't a request.
In the future, please search a bit more carefully for similar discussions before beginning your own. If you determine that a new discussion would add significant value over any existing ones, feel free to post your own thread.
Now, get back on topic. I don't feel like wasting my Sunday yelling at people for whining. If you have some deep concern over the usability of the search feature or the accessibility of the main thread (not forum), then post about that in the TappedOut forum.
June 21, 2015 10:53 a.m.
@VampireArmy It stops becoming a request and starts becoming more people jumping down others throats when you have people specifically browsing the site... not for Magic related information, but rather for people who've done what they've deemed to be wrong.
If there wasn't dozens of people sitting around, waiting, ready to tell every person who post a thread that they've done something wrong (whether they actually have or not) then I might possibly believe you that it's a request. However, untill then, it can only been seen as people trying to abuse the perceived power they feel they have to tell others what is right and what is wrong

If I have to warn you again, you may find it difficult to log in for the next day or so. Do. Not. Derail. This. Thread.

Just because there's an aggregated spoiler thread doesn't mean there's a gun to anyone's head to use it. I don't really know where that rule came from. Or this necro "rule" people think exists on this site.
As long as all these rules are totally unpublished and not very guess-able even to bystanders like TheAnnihilator as far as I'm concerned they don't exist.
abenz419 you seem like kind of an asshole, just kind of in general, so while you may have lots of points that make you seem right to me, being right is certainly no license to be an asshole up in here.

Guys, I was way over this as soon as I apologized. Stop arguing with the admins.

This has been a main discussion on the main spoiler thread. Let's keep the forum clutter to a minimum on previously discussed subjects please
