Damn son, that loyalty count.

I always forget Karn... But FAMOUSWATERMELON, yes. I would rank Planeswalkers in terms of playability to power as such:
- Jace
- LotV
- Narset
- Elspeth, Knight Errant
- Karn
Karn is the fifth because he really can only be player in a specific list, namely RG Tron. However the other 4 have much wider flexibility in terms of lists you could use them in, though each have their own strengths and weaknesses.

I would maybe tie Karn and Ugin, but yeah, about that. Maybe even Lili over Jace, but that's discussable.

FAMOUSWATERMELON Lili isn't banned. Jace is inherently broken and really there's no competition there. People keep thinking that unbanning him is viable due to the increased amount of Walker hate that is now around, but such suggestions fail to recognize that Jace would be framed within a Control shell.

The optimistic rankings are okay, but I thing we should see how it plays first. For all we know it could be completely awful, or even better than Lili (doubt it).
bijschjdbcd: I'm pretty sure the definition of "protects itself" means that you don't have to back it up with wraths or other cards. I will agree that that is very easy to protect Narset in a control deck, however.
I have not been super impressed with Narset, though I feel her +1 is very solid in a control deck. I am worried about her -2 not having any really solid choices in control at the moment. It doesn't work with counterspells, and the ability becomes worthless of the spell you cast is countered itself. Then again, it has surprisingly good synergy with wraths. It may very well see play in modern, though 4 mana might push her out of viability in tier 1.
Actually, surviving double bolt is pretty sweet.
Oh, and ChiefBell, I feel that planeswalkers are probably worthy of their own threads, due to their awesomeness. Most of the problems are people starting threads about Necromaster Dragon or whatnot. And duplicate threads are annoying. Maybe there should be a way to make the search bar more visible. I was unaware of its existence until a few months ago.

SimicPower you seem to be framing her within Standard alone. I think I have presented a convincing case that she will see Modern play.

Well I mean if you consider All the card advantage in standard control decks. Jace's Ingenuity, Dig Through Time and Treasure Cruise.
A Wrath becomes a time walk.
In an Esper Shell you can rebound Downfall or Utter End.
As for Modern all the burn spells and so much more.

CanadianShinobi I was considered both standard and modern. I do think that she has potential in modern, possibly more than standard. Doubling a cryptic command is very useful. I just know that modern control decks play a lot of cheap spells like Serum Visions, so spending four mana to double one of them a turn later isn't very efficient. If you can hit a wrath or Cryptic Command, then she has much more potential, though command loses some utility. This also means it would be turn six when you get the fee command or wrath. Not bad, but I don't see her as one of the best planeswalkers ever printed.
The ultimate can literally make some (most?) decks have no possibility of winning. This however, is still three turns after you drop narset. It's not actually that slow compared to most planeswalkers, but especially without protection I feel Narset ultimates are going to be rare. One lightning bolt sets back the clock another three turns. If you are planning on rebounding spells, it is even more impossible.
Who knows, I may change my opinions on Narset after seeing her play, like a did with Sarkhan or Ugin. ("8 mana is way to much to be viable anywhere besides Tron!" I said.)

I guess I always gravitate towards saying newly spoiled cards aren't very good, mostly because most cards aren't good. By saying all cards aren't viable, I am actually right most of the time!
And for the record, I am not saying that Narset is terrible, only that her $50 preorder price tag is way overhyped (as with all planeswalker preorders, but $50 is way too extreme. Even Ugin was going for $30 in the prodders.)

SimicPower doubling a serum visions is fantastic. You can set up your draws and then +1 Narset to gain even more card advantage. I personally like the idea of a rebounding lightning bolt or removal spell against a midrange deck.

bijschjdbcd Well, she's outstanding in standard, really good in limited, and playable in modern. Now, I wouldn't go putting her in my control decks, but she would would really well in a UWR Kiki/Twin control shell. She can either show you that you're going to draw that Deceiver Exarch next turn, or draw into cantrips to get you closer to the combo kill.
I like her. Hopefully I'll get lucky and open mein Khane at the prerelease.
