Looks interesting. The heroic alone is a bit of a bomb in limited. Think it will see constructed play?

The Heroic is a bomb in limited? The card is so much worse in limited. You'll rarely hit something the opponent has more than one of, and going all in on milling them with this awful card and...what, Returned Centaurs? Not nearly a reliable enough plan. Hell, a more streamlined deck with just the Centaurs would be better.
Card is trash.

This the silly Johnny rare they include in every set like Elite Arcanist and Meletis Charlatan .

Charlatan was at least borderline playable in Sealed in the slower U/B builds you saw. You haven't lived until you've copied a Griptide in THS limited.

I don't know about this guy.
As much as I like the idea of a Counterspell that punches your opponent in the face it seems like you'd need a lot of heroic triggers on him before you can reliably get something that you really want to counter, and if your heroic-enabling spells are enchantments then you may not wanna sac him.
He's cool but I'm not sure how great he'll be outside of limited

Sadly its first effect is at its most powerful in Limited, where Heroic enablers aren't terrible and the small deck size is relevant. It's second effect, the one with the real "oomph", is at its most powerful in Constructed, where multiple copies of each card are more likely.

I'm sorry, but that's WAY too much effort to make a Voidmage Prodigy . You have to waste a bunch of slots in your deck on cheap heroic abilities to have a chance to hit cards that corelate to cards in your opponent's hand in order to then spend 2 mana and your guy to counter a spell.

I don't like the art, but I like the card itself. Reminds me of Grimoire Thief , and I'm sure that there are players out there already thinking of how to take this to an FNM.

It's costed for Constructed, but we haven't seen a Heroic deck do well in a major event. I think it's more a casual rare than a Constructed one though.
