New Cards Are Up! Drools Love These Images~

Here are the new cards added:
- Bloodstained Mire
- Crackling Doom : EDH Dega staple.
- Dragon-Style Twins : If anyone can find a higher quality image, please message me.
- Duneblast : EDH junk staple, "I save my commander, everything else dies, I WIN!"
- Flooded Strand
- Herald of Anafenza : Not much to say besides potential of there being a token deck in standard. Also, new artist did this card.
- Ivorytusk Fortress : If anyone can find a good quality image, message me.
- Mardu Skullhunter
- Narset, Enlightened Master : EDH. Such a wonderful commander! EEEE
- Necropolis Fiend : Loving the delve mechanic that has been brought back.
- Polluted Delta
- Rattleclaw Mystic : Name, art and artist change from the old Soundclaw Mystic.
- Sarkhan, the Dragonspeaker : Someone decided they were going to upload a crappy quality image.
- Sultai Charm : Automatic include in any modern BUG build. LOVE THIS.
- Temur Ascendancy : Really powerful Animar, Soul of Elements EDH card.
- Windswept Heath
And for once the new art sticks instantly in decks! YAY!

I forgot to post this one!
Now for some reason, the T/O system does not recognize the fact that some of these cards are from KTK (notably the fetches) and I think that can cause problems.

Ladies and gentlemen of Modern! We HAVE FETCHES! God I'm pumped. Ally fetchlands... in freaking Modern! But I think that Standard is about to get pretty pricey. Everyone is going to want these. Hopefully Wizards is printing enough of these for the demand. Because good lord, the Modern players are going to have a field day. (so much joy)

New sets of cards are up! Also with my little anecdote on them.
- Abzan Guide : I like the limited value of this. It can be used late-game or early game
- Ainok Bond-Kin : Outlast heroic decks might be a very potential thing. This guy seems really useful giving all your heroic creatures first strike.
- Heir of the Wilds : Seems to be more limited value, as a 2/2 bear with deathtouch and a potential to get stronger, may see gruul aggro decks in standard.
- Icefeather Aven : One of my favourite cards out of KTK right now~
- Jeskai Windscout
- Lens of Clarity : I'm not too sure about this. I don't like how it costs so little for such a massive potential to destroy an entire deck archetype. While there seems to be a lot more artifact and enchantment hate coming up, this seems like a guaranteed sideboard card against any morph deck.
- Mardu Warshrieker : Definitely an aggro include. A 3/3 which can generate 1-2 more creatures that turn? SOLD! Will do wonders in the right limited build too.
- Shambling Attendants
WotC has done WONDEROUS things to this set! The flavour is there in abounds, and each mechanic really shouts out at you as being unique and buildable. It really seems like they are going for a creature oriented standard thanks to Theros's Devotion, Heroic and Bestow mechanics.

- Bitter Revelation : If anyone can find me a higher quality card image, please let me know.
- Sorin, Solemn Visitor : I knew there would be some form of token deck for standard.
- Ugin's Nexus : With Chief Engineer , which then gets chucked at the opponent with Shrapnel Blast . Izzet artifacts may be getting competitive. Also, need a full card size for this, as mythicspoiler.com doesn't know how to crop properly.

I'm really weirded out by Lens of Clarity being common. Why is that common?
Ugin's Nexus is funny because you can't abuse the legend rule to get your extra turn.

Why can't you abuse the legend rule http404error? All it says if it goes into the graveyard from the battlefield, which can literally be any effect.

You can still do mid-game shenanigans, by playing the second Ugin's Nexus , destroying one to the legend rule, and then just Shrapnel Blast ing the remaining one.

I think the point of Lens of Clarity at common would be to help prevent people cheating with morph creatures in limited.

Femme_Fatale, I'm pretty sure the legend rule kills as an SBE, so you can't respond to it with Shrapnel Blast and you won't get two extra turns.

Guys, I think we as a player base have earned a bone with these fetchlands for not being insufferable asses. Don't mess this up.
For some reason, I am still seeing the Onslaught art for Wooded Foothills when I scroll over it, even though in the playtester they appear as the Khans art and I specified the KTK printing. My Windswept Heath art is fine.

That's because I missed Wooded Foothills the first time. The system likes to stick to the old image (or very first image uploaded) for a very long time. Some times it can go from a week to a month or more before the system decides to correct itself to the correct information that is listed. This is why I'm being VERY picky when it comes to the card submissions. Because otherwise, it just messes the system up.
While I don't see the onslaught Wooded Foothills , there is nothing wrong if you do, it is just a system error.

- Anafenza the Foremost: If anyone can find me a non-mocked up card, show me and I may use it. I won't add the card to our database until I get a decent image. It seems in order to prevent the system from crapping out on me I have to get everything done perfectly the first time.

- Mardu Heart-Piercer : KTK printing.
- Mystic Monastery : KTK printing.
- Nomad Outpost : KTK printing.
- Sagu Mauler : The only new card in this update.

- Abzan Ascendancy :
- Mardu Ascendancy : I really love the Ascendancy cycle. Nevermind their potency in standard, I'd love to see them in modern. Specific builds yes, but potentially very useful.
- See the Unwritten : Can be an instant game-changer. Two creatures? Wow.
- Utter End : The small version was the only one available at the moment. It let me do a little size testing, and we can all see the results. Won't happen again I assure you.

- Anafenza, the Foremost : Very powerful, there has been some speculation of being a modern Pod include.
- Ankle Shanker : Intro deck version (under 000).
- Avalanche Tusker : Intro deck version (under 000).
- Clever Impersonator : Wonderful EDH card, but only as good as your opponent's board state.
- Crater's Claws : Best X burn spell since Banefire . You can use it for just one mana as a Shock if you wanted to. Very versatile.
- Dragon's Eye Savants : The reveal a card from your hand cost for morph is INGENIUS! If done on the right effect, this can make morph cards very powerful.
- Ghostfire Blade
- Horde Ambusher
- Howl of the Horde : Very good in a RDW deck. As any burn spell does 3 times more damage now. An excellent finisher.
- Ivorytusk Fortress 000 version.
- Raider's Spoils
- Rakshasa Vizier : KTK and 000 version. A build around me card. Best in EDH, but limited in application.
- Ruthless Ripper : A definite include in black decks for creature control. The deathtouch makes it applicable in many other decks.
- Sage of the Inward Eye : 000 version. Like Rakshasa Vizier .
- Utter End : Image update
- Watcher of the Roost
- Wingmate Roc : A mythic? Really? This is probably my greatest disappointment with the set so far. I don't even see it being mythic in limited.

In the first five seconds I saw Sage of the Inward Eye , I thought of Drogskol Reaver (especially with tokens). There, broke an intro pack rare for you. :p
As a whole, I love this set. As someone who owns a Multicolored theme EDH box, Wizards have done me proud, though I'm a bit bummed that most of the good Abzan cards deal with +1/+1 counters but, hey, I at least I see a few I want though.

- Empty the Pits : Potentially a good alternative wincon in mono-B devotion, but I really think it shines in EDH.

- Icy Blast : Sideboard card against Heroic and bestow.
- Jeering Instigator : Limited card.
- Kheru Spellsnatcher : EDH card.
- Mindswipe : Can potentially see a lot of play. People did say that Sphinx's Revelation was never going to see play when it was first spoiled after all.
- Opulent Palace
- Sage of the Inward Eye : KTK image
- Sandsteppe Citadel
- Savage Knuckleblade
: A future money card of standard. Is a guaranteed include in
decks. An EDH guarantee. And definite include in modern should ever become a thing. Isn't it now? GRRR. - Suspension Field : BOOO. Journey to Nowhere . I understand that it is meant for flavour and sideboard control against Ferocious and Heroic decks, but still.
- War-Name Aspirant : Really powerful in aggro, gets through tokens and many chump blockers, and is also a decent limited card.
