Angelic Field Marshal and Feldon of the Third Path

I like the new mechanic.

Nahiri very well may be dead or trapped somewhere. From what I remember from Ob Nixilis's article, Nahiri was basically Zendikar's first line of defense against invaders and apparently could somehow sense the arrival of Ob Nix. Since she appears to usually be very active in the fight(s) for Zendikar, the fact that Sorin can't contact her, arguably Zendikar's most devout protecter, is extremely worrisome.

I hope we get super old legends in dire need of an updated card with oracle text. Like Marton Stromgald for example.

I'm a fan of both these creatures. Honestly, Feldon is making me want to play red, which is something I never want to do. Lieutenant looks like a fun mechanic, looking forward to it.

I'm gonna be buying the jeskai colours when c14 comes out. just looking at what we've seen so far blue and red look awesome but I have high hopes for white as long as Serra is the planeswalker.

MarduGras I knew you Mardu barbarians would come around and see that the path to enlightenment is best for all.

When I saw the red legendary I tough.":Why is it almost always red for things that put token of copies of creatures". I need green and/or white for my Rhys!

I wish it was any graveyard, but that might be too OP. this at least makes you work for it

ShiroiBara - Rhys the Redeemed ALREADY makes token copies of creatures. You don't need more toys.

greyninja - I think it's "your graveyard" because you don't want a Red deck reanimating an opponent's Iona, Shield of Emeria or Avacyn, Angel of Hope and using Sundial of the Infinite to keep it FOREVER.

But that's the thing, the best thing with Rhys, is to make copies of token that are copies of creatures. Most tokens are rather weak, but an army of Geist-Honored Monk or Oversoul of Dusk hits far harder.

are these cards legal in standard? the angel is just a flat better serra angel (except legend rule) that i could see being the top end of a white-weenie deck; 4 mana for a 5/5 vig flyer, sweet, giving vig to the team: a little irrelivant in something like that, but its just is icing on the cake and lets you chump for days

Blizzicane says... #12

squishy_law no they will not be legal in standard because this is a non-standard set. Meaning these cards will only be legal in eternal formats (EDH/Legacy/Vintage). :3

JWiley129about your comment about getting emrakel in the 'yard:yes, it gives you an extra turn, yes, you get a giant beater, yes you get annihilator 6, but, and this is a big but, other than that it is completely a nombo and a total flavor killer. because it does something that it counter productive in multiplayer (very different in 1v1), you kill someone in a brutal, blowout, threatening way. this makes everyone else at the table go "woah, kiki shenanagins being a douche, better focus him down" not only that, but at this time of vulnerability when everyone and their mother is gunning for ya', you are weakened, as he is sacced, you lose your graveyard, something which in a deck like this is something exceedingly important and something that you have been likely working on adding to for the whole game
