Here is a new spoiler from conspiracy, but my question is, is it legal in modern? I am somewhat confused about the set legality.

Yeah definitely, I may include her in my naya edh for fun, lol and I am definitely going out to buy a box when it comes out
May 14, 2014 11:24 a.m.
I imagine i'm going to buy a box. Mainly because the set isn't going to be a limited print run so the price will actually be sold at msrp.
May 14, 2014 11:34 a.m.
How much do you think Dack Fayden will cost? I mean in dollars. I want him for my casual d&d deck, and I have no idea what price he'll be sold.

I have no idea, as far as I know, wizards hasn't released a set like this before?
May 14, 2014 12:13 p.m.
his power level is high. His price is totally going to depend on how well he can do in legacy.

Dack's -2 ability is what makes him strong in my opinion. 3 mana, gain control of target artifact! you could steal Umezawa's Jitte , you could steal mana rocks like Grim Monolith (though if they opponent was smart, they would've tapped it that for you couldn't use it). Now that i am thinking about it, turn 2 Liquimetal Coating , turn 3 dack fayden, gain control of any permanent that you want!

Yeah I don't imagine he is going to be a cheap planeswalker.

Dack Fayden will be very expensive for the sole reason that he is insane in Vintage.

@PhageTheUnbeatable, why is he insane in vintage. Vintage is a turn 1 combo format, or a turn 4 win with mono blue last i checked. Yes, there are some rogue elves/goblins that win on turn 1-2. Plus, vintage doesn't effect prices as much as formats like legacy.
Also, i am sure that some people will want dack for the flavor of the card. Other's will want him for casual play. No but, vintage is barely played anymore. I am a fan of vintage because you are allowed all cards except for uncards and ante cards. Finally, planeswalkers have trouble in vintage because the chances are that you can only use their abilities once. After that, you have to win the game, or be beaten.
Three mana to Faithless Looting once? I would rather use Brainstorm /Jace, the Mind Sculptor . -2 as i said is good, but at sorcery speed? The chances are next to zero that you will be able to ultimate any planeswalker in vintage.
So dack fayden good solely because of vintage, unlikely. He will see play in legacy, will he be tier 1? no, but he will still be a pain in the ass to deal with in legacy, and vintage don't give a ****

What are the chances fetches or filters get printed a set like conspiracy, or in conspiracy?
Would it be a conspiracy to release this and the modem event deck within weeks of each other if one supports the other?
Just curious.

I must take back something i said. Apparently planeswalkers are used, like Jace, the Mind Sculptor , but is that why he is ~$100? No, it is because he is the best planeswalker and used in legacy/edh + to a lesser extent vintage. The same is the case for dack, he will be used in legacy/edh and maybe even some weird deck in vintage. But will he be expensive solely because of vintage, no.

@miracleHat: Vintage is not, as they say, a "Turn-One Win" format. Yes, games are fast, but it is uncommon to see a game actually end that quickly, unless a player is playing TPS. Games are won more frequently by resource denial and card advantage-generation. dack fayden has all of the essential elements of a Vintage staple: cheap cost, ridiculous card advantage (as Careful Study every turn for 1UR is insane), and the ability to flat-out steal 50% of the cards in the format. I'm not saying he will be worth as much as Jace, the Mind Sculptor , but the more limited print run and Vintage (probably not too much in Legacy, but RUG Delver might utilize it) demand will cause Dack to grow in price exponentially.

Along with Control Magic . Conspiracy will be legal in legacy/vintage/edh-commander/pauper. It is like a commander set, except for drafting.
