Diffusion Sliver
1U
Whenever a Sliver creature you control becomes the target of a spell or ability an opponent controls, counter that spell or ability unless its controller pays 2. 1/1
Venom Sliver
1G
Venom Sliver1G
Sliver creatures you control have deathtouch. 1/1
these with sliver hivelord=fun time for you, not for your opponent
Until rotation, I can see every FNM having someone play:
T1: Sliver Hive
, Striking Sliver
T2: Sliver Hive
, Venom Sliver
....now all your slivers win in all combat. At very worst, they will trade.
Alternatively...
T1: Sliver Hive
, Striking Sliver
T2: Sliver Hive
, Manaweft Sliver
T3: Sliver Hive
, Sliver Hivelord
...now Slivers are Indestructible, and next turn they will get Deathtouch...
After Rotation, I don't see slivers as being played at all... the options are just underwhelming. - No 1-drop, no ramp, not even a power boost.
I'm sure some people will try a 5-color Sliver deck, with all the mana fixing it will have. Mana Confluence , Sliver Hive , Pain Lands... but I just don't see it working at all.

I wonder if this will mean a price drop on Toxin Sliver . It's been the third most expensive of all slivers for quite some time now. A 3/3 body attached to it is nice, but a 2 CMC mass deathtouch in green just seems way better.
Also, completing the cycle: Belligerent Sliver2RSliver creatures you control have "This creature can't be blocked except by two or more creatures."

Hard to tell... there's a bit of a trade-off in them.
Toxin Sliver has the important "can not be regenerated" ability, but also specifies "combat damage"...
Venom Sliver, on the other hand can allow regenerate, but has synergy with Thorncaster Sliver and other effects.

Venom Sliver works better with thorncaster but it's the only way it's better. Toxin is bigger, and it's ability is more powerful and useful.
And it doesn't matter you'd run both would you not. Especially in EDH.

This deck will be good. Chris Vanmeter had a good sliver list before these were even spoiled. They just got ridiculous

I've never played Slivers, and starting now would probably be a bad idea.
And yet, Diffusion Sliver is just so neat.
Stupid sexy sliver.

I see Yisan, the Wanderer Bard and just see wonderful potential for slivers. At the very worst he would draw some kind of burn or removal, which I would rather hit him than one of my slivers anyway.

@Schuesseled I see your Doom Blade and raise you a Sliver Hivelord . LOL

Great EDH slivers. The other two uncommons, not so much.
