Let me talk to you about Nissa...
I hear you like ramp...
Her first +1 isn't horrible. If you have 6 lands than you tap out to play her and have a 4/4 blocker. The chance of them killing a land is low, and even if they do - that's one less Doom Blade hitting a creature. She provides you with endless advantage. By turning land in creatures you effectively have 24 more creatures in your deck. I can assure you they won't have 24 Doom Blade s. In fact, in modern, the vast majority of removal like Maelstrom Pulse and Abrupt Decay do not hit them. She's even better there.
There is absolutely no reason to use her first +1, whether they are tappedout or not, unless there's no way that the 4/4 could protect ie - if the land you animate is tapped out.
She won't hover around $10 - she will likely be played in modern. I can see her at $30 and more.

I partly agree with you. Her "untap 4 Forests" is going to be huge in Standard. Just imagine playing her T4, untap 4 Lands and play Pukanose as protection.
In Modern it's almost exclusively always better to make a 4/4 even if it's already tapped when Nissa hits. Because if your opponent doesn't handle either next turn you make another land 4/4 and smash in for 8 trample (which is a lot in Modern). Basically it's 2-3 turns for your opponent when she hits in Modern. I'd say it's over when she hits in Modern unless your opponent can kill off her and the land in one turn, but even then it's most likely a 2 for 1.

Putrefy Or playing her on turn three with mystic (or the m15 dork) and Sylvan Caryatid , and also getting a Courser of Kruphix out.

It depends on the threats you have of course. Soemtimes untapping land will be correct, but obviously thats dependent on what you have in hand. Makign a land into a 4/4 is not dependent on what you have in hand.

Btw the m15 dork is Elvish Mystic .
At least mythic spoiler seems to think so, i think it's in one of the starter decks.

I think it would make sense for a reprint of Mystic. Heck, we're getting Nissa. Maybe they'd print something like Greenweaver Druid , but I doubt it.

As a modern green player, after seeing this I peed my pants a little. If you have a mono green devotion deck you better open up some spots for Nissa.
Can you imagine all the ramp and how fast you could get out Khalni Hydra , Kalonian Hydra , etc...and how big Primordial Hydra and Primalcrux can get.
Control won't be a problem anymore from the simple fact you've used up your mana. Now the only problem mono green will have is having cards in your hand.

Perhaps there should be an automatic function that closes threads after thirty days of inactivity.

ok time to let some people know just how good she is with a break down:
+1. her first plus 1 is horrible and shouldnt be used UNLESS they are tapped completely out and the land wont die.
+1. untapping 4 lands can protect her by playing a creature(s) like polka!! also in conjuction with nyx shrine land can make you play uber things quickly.
-7. if you are playing R/G with Hammer of Purphoros then you win, no arguing it. there are no instant board wipes outside of Ratchet Bomb and the unlikely Quicken + Mizzium Mortars (overload) which both will rotating soon.
i plan on making a naya midrange with her as a win con with hammer and the newer ajani that can give nissa counters. she's definetly good in the right deck and can probably hover on the $10 area for a good while
