That art is amazing. It just brings up one question to my mind: Is it for an Ob Nixilis Creature, or will it be the art for a removal spell?

The above art looks more like a removal spell, so im leaning on the other art being a creature. Also, what team is Ob on? He clearly dislikes Eldrazi (see first picture) but obviously hates the civilians of Zendikar.

Ob Nixilus wants to get his spark back, and the only way to do that is to destroy Zendikar. That would mean probably working against Ugin & friends, which probably means teaming up with Nicol Bolas.

I think the first looks like a killspell, most likely related to Eldrazi somehow (destroying colorless creatures or something maybe?). The second looks to me more like a sorcery or instant honestly. Brings Sorin's Vengeance to mind. something about it doesn't seem killspell-y enough.

First one is probably promo art for packaging, like the big pics of Xenagos.

Given that the Kor in the second pic is white on white on white, I'm guessing that's art for the token "destroy target non-black creature" spell of the set.

I assume Ob Nixilis is cutting up Eldrazi (well spawn atleast) to try and learn how they travel between planes in hope that it'll help to discover how to re-ignite his spark.
