Old-Bordered Cards that You Would Like to See Reprinted in the New Border

WotC occasionally reprints old cards in new sets, which is good, except that they are not reprinting such cards as frequently as I would like them to do so, and they often reprint the same boring cards countless times (seriously, they reprinted Naturalize and Pacifism at least a dozen times each), so I wish to start a thread in which the users here can mention unusual or esoteric old-bordered cards that they really wish to see reprinted in the new border style. Obviously, we can exclude cards that are on the reserved list, since it is very unlikely that those cards shall be reprinted at any time, in the near future.
First, I would like to see Absorb and Backlash reprinted, since both Undermine and Recoil were reprinted, not too long ago, and all of those cards were originally from the same block.
Next, Fire Covenant and Essence Vortex would both be very nice, since they have unusual effects, but also awkward wording that is in need of an update, and also would benefit from new artwork, as well, in my mind.
I definitely would like to see Ancient Spider reprinted, preferably with its rarity downgraded to uncommon, as it would be very nice for my green/white deck, but I prefer to have all of the cards in my decks have the modern border style.
Given that Death Mutation was reprinted in the first Commander set, I would really like to see the other three mutations (AEther Mutation, Artifact Mutation, and Aura Mutation) reprinted, as well.
I very much would like to see Dromar, the Banisher reprinted, since he is the only legendary dragon from the invasion block that has yet to be reprinted in the new border style. Sol'kanar the Swamp King would also be a very nice reprint, as well.
What does everyone else say about this? What are some old-bordered cards that you would like to see reprinted in the new border style?
Serra Angel with the old art (not Serra Angel's art- ugly!)

I love the promos of the new cards that they put in old borders. Not sure how to link the crucible, or sword that they did it with, or if there are others.

honestly? None. I love the premodern borders.
In fact, I'd like it the other way around: print some cards in the old borders!

I'm double behind a force reprint if they use the VMA art. So pretty.

Well then what cards would you like to see with old borders? For me, Medomai the Ageless would be sick.

TBH, I love the old borders as well. I wouldn't change the way things are right now, but I wouldn't mind having an old school Ponder, Omniscience, Snapcaster Mage, Laboratory Maniac, Fabricate, Swan Song, and a bunch of other blue staples.

I would say any of the cards I play. Especially the dinky artifacts that I put in most of my EDH decks. Expedition Map, Darksteel Ingot, signets, talismans ect...

I'd love to see a non-FTV Nicol Bolas with a new border.

Now, I love Bolas and all, but damn is that art terrible...

Nothing is more terrifying than an elder dragon reading a book.

see I find Altar of Dementia out of place with the modern border, looks so much better with the brown artifact border from Tempest

Regarding the cards that I mentioned in my first post, how likely is it that any of them may be reprinted in the near future, realistically speaking?

I think the only card in your original post that doesn't have much of a chance is Essence Vortex, simply because it isn't good enough to play. It may read well, but in practice it never does what you actually want it to do. I was personally disappointed by this card many many times in my early days of playing. I like and agree with all your other ideas, especially Fire Covenant, because it's awesome.

I also would like to see Eladamri's Call reprinted, as that is one of the best creature-finding cards (i.e., "tutors) in the game. Perhaps this year's Commander product would be an ideal place for it (if the set shall have allied-colored decks), or otherwise a functional reprint with a generic name would be nice, as well.
Fervent Charge is a very nice card, and I was very surprised that it was not reprinted in either the first Commander set or Duel Decks: Speed versus Cunning, both of which would have been perfect places for it. I am certain that it would look great in the new border style.
Technically, Rhystic Study was reprinted in the new border style in Commander's Arsenal, but that set has such a limited print run that all cards from it are ridiculously expensive, so I would like to see it reprinted in a set with a larger print run, such as a future Commander set.

Counterspell, if it's printed in a Modern-legal set.
Otherwise, yeah. Old border rules. Although they make alters a little harder to do. =/

I am certain that Cromat would look great in the new border style, but I am not certain what set would be best for it, other than From the Vault, and the same is true for Tsabo Tavoc as well.

Bazaar of Baghdad ;DI honestly like the old borders better than the "modern" ones...
