Phyrexian Revoker is back baby!

This card I feel is going to be in a lot of sideboards post rotation... Why only post? Pithing Needle does its job for less mana and since Phyrexian Revoker is a creature, it is removed easily.

What are your guys's thoughts?

Red's archetype seems to be tied to artifacts in M15 and I can see Red paying one more mana for 2 power and the ability to enter the redzone. A very efficient answer for many problem cards for aggro decks.

And it stops mana dorks, unlike Pithing Needle .

Why not mainboard? It's a 2/1 for 2 that stops a lot of things. Legacy DnT runs the revoker as a 4 of main and 1-2 needles side....

I'll probably drop a couple in most decks I build....

This is perfect for the HateBears that a lot of people were trying to make for Standard.

Because we don't have to worry about Jace, Liliana, Stoneforge, Sword of X and Y, Jitte, and the zillion other things in Legacy.

Where's the source for this information? I haven't found a place where Phyrexian Revoker is in M15.

And it can't be vialed in, DnT usually keeps their vials on 2.

Hmm. This looks interesting. I think it will hit the main for a lot of decks looking to go HateBears, as has been mentioned. With this, Perilous Vault, Darksteel Citadel , and Ornithopter , might we see an artifact theme crop up in the next Standard?

Convoke is clearly returning in force, and cards like Shield of the Avatar will certainly make synergy for it. I also like the art on the new Jace. He's standing in front of the Tablet of the Guildpact, and I imagine his moniker will be flavored toward his current "Living Guildpact" status. Exciting stuff in M15.

I don't think Wizards is necessarily pushing for an Artifact season again. If you haven't noticed by now, they're bringing in elements from the planes of Theros, Innistrad, Ravnica, Zendikar, Shandalar, and New Phyrexia.

Most of the reprints in this set have come directly from or are inspired by those planes.

I don't count mythic spoiler as a source. They've been wrong before about cards. Plus if it's not on mtgsalvation I don't really trust it.

Artifacts are cool though. I do hope it will soon be possible to play artifacts in standard one day again.
