So they're all spoiled and we still cant draft sim them?wtf.... right?i know its not hard to do...sooo.... wtf, right?

For one thing incase you guys didn't know the cards are put into the database by our upgraded users. That job is completely voluntary. Not to mention this is a free site what do you expect? Don't get your panties in a bunch and be patient

Clearly you've never worked with databases.
165 items with several different pieces of information attached doesn't sound like much until it's your job to enter it all.

I enter info into databases a lot and it is grueling. It is very time consuming and you have to be patient with yourself and others, which is a trait the owner of this post is clearly lacking.

lol. as an upgraded user and the one who input the commons and uncommons for every color when theros came out, i can say that its hard and time consuming as mentioned above. we have several users right now submitting cards but it will take some time. please be patient, we'll have this sorted ASAP

I once had to do a tax audit for a company that had over 6 months of receipts to go through .THAT was time consuming and grueling. I think my excel file had over 4000 entries by the end.

Wow, you're such a prick. A free service is letting you do all of this and you're complaining, Wtf right? If you'd like you're more more than welcome to upgrade and put in all 165 cards in the set, because it is up to the users to do it. I've only done a few cards myself and it is a time consuming process. Learn to be patient and appreciate what you have.

Maybe we're being a little hard on the guy. From his profile he's still pretty new here, and judging by his writing style he is most likely young, I would guess early high school or even younger. In that age range it is common to be impatient and self-absorbed, he just doesn't know any better yet.

WOW .... no one can take what i said and say something creative about it like, it'll be up by this date or it takes X amount of time to add it. instead most of you criticize me and make assumptions, to clarify.... I'm 25, i've been playing magic for 12 years, I am somewhat new to this site, and the one deck i have posted is kind of a joke, i was testing the deck building engine out after getting back into magic after a few years. im still learning all the current standard cards. and RB control was one of the first decks i ever constructed when i was like 13... so i thought it would be fun to build a standard version of that since im getting back into magic after a long break...Im glad to know this forum is such a positive place for thoughts.... and that everyone has a wonderful sense of humor......

In general, this place is a nice enough place.
But when you come in and start assuming that a user created database needs to be updated two days after the full set is released, we get a little antsy. You were given the most constructive answer: It will happen in due time, since the entire database is created and ran by the users who put forth donation in cash form, not some team of people paid to do work with databases.
Also, Blue/Red, is U/R, not B/R.

@C3willuhz While it was not alright for them to make cracks about you, you still did come across as incredibly entitled. Nothing in your original statement makes it at all clear that this was supposed to be a joke and not a serious attempt. I personally found many of the insults creative, if not kind. If you mean constructive, your own discourse was hardly that.
And for the record, over the past weekend I have submitted images and information for every missing BNG card. The set will most likely be up by Tuesday.
Also, regardless of age or maturity, better grammar and punctuation will make everyone take you more seriously.

We were rude to you because you were being shockingly rude yourself. Whatever your intent was, you came across as a very overly entitled person who doesn't care much about others.
This whole situation could have been dealt with better by multiple people myself included and for my part in this I apologize.
But in the end you get what you give, and what you gave was anything but positive.

You're complaining about the community here criticizing you - after this initial post?
You could have easily posted: "So with all the Born of the Gods' cards spoiled, how long do you guys think it will take until we can draft sim? I'd really like to get some practice in before the pre-release."
No, instead you had to be immature and impatient about it: "i know its not hard to do..."
Straight of the bat, an incorrect assumption, where you have claimed what you say as fact. While I'm not familiar with the Tapped Out's database, be damn glad that user's here don't have to database the entire thing from scratch using Java Script (the main code source on the internet par HTML); if they did that can take hours upon hours (Especially given the Java Script language). By making such a complaint to a free service, that for the most part is updated via the community, you come off as a bit of a self absorbed douche.
Lastly, your grammar is appalling; I don't know about others but when I see ellipsis used incorrectly I get frustrated.

They weren't criticizing you, you have not done anything worthy of critique. You on the other hand are criticizing the pace at which those who volunteer to add cards, add cards at. That is not acceptable behavior so you really shouldn't be surprised when people react in such a manner.
I'm sure they will all be added in due course, and no I cannot give you a time frame.

Wasting my breath... But you guys are so serious... You just couldn't let this go by without negative input. And "LOL!" to the people who bitch about how hard databasing is.... I work hard labor, lifting 50 to 150 lbs. regularly and I'm on my feet for 8 to 10 hours a day, so I could give an "F" about how "time consuming" databasing is... half of you are just sitting around your parents' house picking your nose anyway.... But please don't feel the need to subject yourself carpal tunnel...

I'm with raithe000 - it's pointless to debate whether you were or were not being a dick because you've gone far past that point. Take Tempest's advice and try to build a positive impression around here, and then maybe you can get away with posts like this.
If we had a better picture of you to begin with, maybe we would have found this funny. I think most of us are willing to get over it and move on, dragging this out won't do anybody any good.

That's not the argument, the argument was that the database is voluntary, and because its voluntary and time consuming, it will take time for people to do their day jobs and work up the attitude necessary to put forth the effort to do essentially, a second day job.

If anything I'd say "your bitch loved my first impression. i left it deep" deserves a ban in the context of everything else.
It's up to the admins though, it's easy enough to ignore him so going unbanned wouldn't be the end of the world either.
