Radiant Fountain, will it be playable in standard?

If your deck is not colour saturated, and includes cards that require mostly colourless mana, then you really should be running this.

So, uh, someone wanna explain this "colour saturation" concept?

How many coloured symbols you have in your costs. For example Precinct Captain has high saturation, whereas Blade of the Sixth Pride doesn't

If all of your costs are like 1 or 2 coloured symbols and then lots more colourless then there's absolutely no reason to not run this. However if you utilise cards like..... Boros Reckoner then it's bad.

It's a really a case of just thinking 'well if I had to play one of these T2 would it affect my curve?' and really 9 times out of 10 the answer is no.

Basically, if you aren't playing straight devotion and you're running 1 or 2 colors, this is an auto-include if you don't have Mutavault or once it rotates out.
Of course, Core Sets like to have a rare nonbasic utility land, too. We'll just have to wait and see.

Every point of life matters in magic. It isn't the worst card. The fact that it enters untapped, is great. But the colorless mana will really hurt control.

Even now, 3-color control decks often run Mutavault
... thus you can see that a few colorless lands can still be used.
The real question ends up being whether or not a better utility land is printed along side this.
