Remember that the FRF cards are meant to be drafted seperately with both KTK and DTK. For that, it is perfectly good design space to make limited-focused card that can fetch a card from each of the expansions.

**Here's to hoping it's timeshifted or whatever, and the cards it references don't show up for like 4 years.

Well I better close this bold tag...

Anyways, vault it better not be another Steamflogger Boss...

I'm hoping that Steamflogger Boss is exactly what it becomes. And well done on closing the bold tag. I tried as well. Apparently the asterisks don't work either.

It seems like it's only playable in Limited for the second effect but the first is actually quite good.

hyperlocke says... #18

Seems so. it wasn't a < b > tag, but < strong >.

January 8, 2015 7:02 a.m.

ChiefBell says... #19

I did < / font > and < / a >

January 8, 2015 7:04 a.m.

hyperlocke says... #20

The source code shows quite a few < /b >. And a lonely < strong > in the OP.

That... was a confusing first page that I just read.

Anyhow, I think that this card may do well in the few U/R artifact decks I see running around. I can imagine this being better than Generator Servant at getting a Scuttling Doom Engine out early. Aside from that deck, I don't think this will see much standard play.

KrosanTusker says... #27

I like it. It seems we're getting more and more Grand Architect and Etherium Sculptor -type cards recently, with Chief Engineer and now this. Is it possible that some sort of a shell with these guys and maybe some Wurmcoils or something could become fringe playable in Modern?

CampbellStev says... #28

I totally blanked on how to do a more shortened Html Format for a picture so I just copy/pasted one from a previous decklist of mine. (I was tired and forgot that Google was a thing even though I had just used it to get onto this site..)

Sorry for that! Embarrassed Emoji

CampbellStev says... #29

I could see this as a auto replacement in any artifact EDH deck running Vedalken Engineer but then again I don't know if any EDH deck runs that card to begin with..
