Ride Down

All I can say is:

Hell. Yes.

This is something I was really looking forward to. Also another ten or so spoilers on Mythic Spoiler.

I don't know where Mythic Spoiler is getting these blurry cards from, but they all look legit. And the Surrak they spoiled last night turned out to be real, so idk.

As far as the card, it's fine. I don't think it's Standard playable, but it'll see play in Limited for sure in Mardu/Jeskai decks.

Speaking of new spoilers, Kin-Tree Invocation looks sick. T3 6/6 spirit if you T2 the 0/6 blue guy.

Gurmag Swiftwing would have been freaking amazing for black aggro if it just swap its power and toughness... D:

Not standard playable? This is going right into my mardu aggro deck! Since the rotating out of shocklands and as a result Chained to the Rocks , this is the perfect removal spell as it's the only one that still allows damage to go through.

If you're being aggro enough this is honestly better than a normal kill-spell most of the time for what you'd want.

I mean, they double block. You kill one and trample over the other. Seems likes good times to me. Will absolutely play this in Standard.

This is just great. So often you'll have burn in hand, but want to save your attacker (not knowing which blocker to bolt). This not only unconditionally destroys that blocker, but lets you get the damage in as well. If I planned on playing RWx, I'd definitely consider this

This is probably the best piece of removal in Limited for the entire set. Definitely a first pick.

This card is great, what no one has picked up on is it provides trample without playing green. Whenever you have a card that provides an ability that is usually not on those colors, you have to look at it hard.

Trample is secondary Red though. Although I was surprised when it was the Archetype of Aggression that got trample (rather than say, haste) and not the Green.

Too bad battalion decks will be rotating out. This card would be awesome in them!

Named_Tawyny - The other reason why Archetype of Aggression gave trample & not haste was that red already had Hammer of Purphoros that gave haste for . And yeah, red is secondary in Trample. Although anything with sufficient size can get trample too.

everyday i have been waking up and going straight for mythic to see what goodies they have added. This set has been so much fun to watch being spoiled. How about despise? Crazy god one drop hand denial. As if black didnt have enough with thoughtseize? To pull a creature or walker from said hand with NO drawback? I mean really that is what i would have normally used seize for any way.

@abenz419 i did not know that. So lots of players who have been around for a while will have ready access to this card as well as the fetches. Great i have got some catching up to do i suppose.

I dig this card. Aggressive removal that makes the opponent timid to block.
