I am so glad scry is in origins! I know wizards of the coast confirmed no Serum Visions, but what about other good scry cards?
I really hope Preordain is reprinted in origins. Yes i know it is banned in modern. But still! it would be great! even at uncommon!

I think a more likely card in the current setup (they seem to be removing blue 1 mana cantrips from standard) is something along these lines
Look at the top card of your library, you may put it on the botttom of your library or put it into your hand

That would make absolutely no sense. Why would you ever put it on bottom instead of drawing it?
I think they could make something like
Sorcery (Rare)
Scry 2, then draw 2 cards.
could be too powerful though.
Maybe Scry 1, then draw 2 cards, then Scry 1.
Foresee would be an awesome reprint, although I guess they would put it to at least uncommon this time. (And hopefully change the unsettling art. Seriously.)

Out of interest, does anybody have the link to where Wizards confirmed that there would be no Serum Visions?
I've heard a lot of people say it, but I've not actually read it myself. (And I'd really like to, especially after WOTC 'confirmed' that the Chandra leak was fake)

@ThatJunkMage: Isn't that just worse than Sleight of Hand though? It's only better if you want both of the top two cards, in which case it's just a bad cantrip.

Yes, that's the point. It's about on par with Slight of hand, just as Anticipate is just as on par with Telling Time.

There's also a flavor justification why Serum Visions wouldn't be in Origins, but no one apparently wants to listen to that argument.
ThatJunkMage - The card you want is a functional reprint of Opt, but Sam Stoddard already said that such a card was too good in Standard with Jeskai Ascendancy and Delve currently in the format. Maybe further down the line once Khans rotates out.

Would a mini-Brainstorm be too powerful? Like this:
Eureka
Instant (or Sorcery, it's negotiable)
Draw two cards, then put one card from your hand on top of your library.

The "serum" is only found on Mirrodin, and Mirrodin is not a plane visited in origins. Examples

TheAnnihilator - With fetches in Standard? I think that's still a little too good.
CheeseBro - SimicPower has the explanation correct. Serum is made from Blinkmoths which are only found on Mirrodin.

TheAnnihilator It couldn't be called Eureka but i like the idea and I would definitely play it.

TheAnnihilator - I just found See Beyond which is the closest to what you suggested, but it's and a Sorcery. That's probably as good as we'd get for what you're suggesting.

Serum Visions could have been in origins. it doesnt matter if serum is in the name or not.
we have mizzium melder, and mizzium is only on ravnica. we have conclave naturalists, and conclave as in selesnya conclave on ravnica. we have dwynen, gilt leaf daen, and gilt leaf is on lorwyn, so we could have serum visions
June 18, 2015 3:22 p.m.
CheeseBro - That's the point though. Of the 10 planes in Origins, Ravnica is one of them and Mirrodin is not. Dwynen is from Lorwyn, which is represented in Origins, Mirrodin is not.

I would prefer a new universal cantrip, something along the lines of
Scry 1, Draw a card for .
Not as good as preordain, just as good as visions, Modern legal
