The next installment in the Signature Spellbook series has been announced, and it is Signature Spellbook: Chandra!
I imagine that many people predicted that there would eventually be an SS for Chandra, so this is not a major surprise, but what is good about this announcement is that the Signature Spellbook series shall continue, since I was worried that the Commander Collection series had replaced SS, so I am very glad to see that that is not the case.
The first two cards to be revealed are:
Which is surprising, since the first two Signature Spellbooks (Jace and Gideon) contained the original incarnations of those characters, whereas this installment contains a newer version of its character.
Judging from the inclusion of PiF, I believe that it is safe to presume that this set shall have a great emphasis on instants and sorceries. Among the cards that I am hoping to see are Chandra's Fury, Chandra's Outrage, and/or Chandra's Phoenix. A user on another forum wished to see Fireball, a classic red spell, in this set, but I would rather see either Rolling Thunder or Comet Storm, since they are both vastly superior to fireball for only one more red mana each.
This product shall be released on June 26, 2020, so I shall be certain to update this thread as further information is revealed.
What does everyone else say about this? Are you excited for this product?
With 3 cards using original art I suspect those 3 spells will be the only ones that already had Chandra's art in them and the others will be Chandra flavor spells with new flavor so no Lightning Bolt but maybe Pyrohemia.

One of the cards in this set shall be an artifact, so I believe that it is safe to presume that it shall be either Chandra's Regulator or Pyromancer's Goggles.

I was thinking about this a lot, and I choose Lavaspike, Pyromancer's Goggles, Red Elemental Blast, Pyretic Ritual, Reforge the Soul, Experimental Frenzy, Abrade, By Force, Impact Tremors, and volcanic visions as my hotpics for this product. I would love to see lightning bolt instead of spike, thou the lack of reprints of the sorcery might be a push to be adding this one to the pull (and I really don't know how to be putting Chandra on this card concept lol)

Because Signature Spellbook: Jace included Blue Elemental Blast, I believe that it is safe to presume that this set shall contain Red Elemental Blast, and I forgot to mention that the artifact in this set could potentially be Pyromancer's Gauntlet, as well.

Is there any chance of there being any creatures in this set, or will it likely be entirely instants and sorceries (apart from Chandra, herself)?
shadow63, that is a good point; how did I forget that card?

The complete card list for this set has been revealed!
Apart from the cards that were previously revealed, the remaining six cards are:
Most of the cards in this set are nice, with only one or two feeling like filler, to me (which was the purpose of the Signature Spellbook series, since too many From the Vault sets had cards that were clearly less valuable or powerful than the other cards). Fiery Confluence is the best card in this set, since it was the most expensive, and, thus, in most need of a reprint, but none of the others were very rare or valuable, although that does not mean that they are filler.
Cathartic Reunion was an excellent choice, and the new artwork on Pyromancer Ascension is very nice, but why did WotC choose Pyroblast instead of Red Elemental Blast, when Signature Spellbook: Jace contained Blue Elemental Blast. Also, how could they not have chosen Chandra's Ignition for this set? The artwork that was used on Rite of Flame would have been perfect for that card, especially since RoF has no real connection to Chandra, because the flavor text relates to the ignition of her planewalker spark, and because the artwork clearly shows her planeswalker spark igniting.
The lack of Chandra's Regulator is very disappointing, since I think that that card would have looked great with the frame style that this set has, and I cannot understand why Young Pyromancer was not given new artwork, because, while the card is clearly meant to depict Chandra as a child or adolescent, the character looks nothing like Chandra.
What does everyone else say about this? What do you think of the card list for this set?

Chandra's Ignition is probably a safe bet.
