I cannot believe that there has not yet been a thread for this, so, I shall make one.
The next installment of the Signature Spellbook series has been revealed, and it is Signature Spellbook: Gideon.
I admit that I was certain that the next installment would be for Chandra, but it is more dramatically appropriate to have it feature Gideon, since it seems likely that he shall die in War of the Spark, and this also make it very likely that there shall be a spellbook for each of the original five members of the Gatewatch (Jace, Gideon, Chandra, Nissa, and Liliana).
The cards in this set are as follows:
The cards are very visually-impressive, but I am slightly disappointed, because all of them have already been printed in the modern frame style, and this series of products is a great way to reprint older cards in the new frames. However, I am glad that none of the cards are filler, as occasionally happened with the From the Vault series, although I do feel that eight cards is simply too few; ten cards would have been much better.
I definitely plan to purchase foil versions of both Path to Exile and True Conviction , provided that they are not too expensive.
Also, it is so wonderful to see new artwork from Richard Kane Ferguson, since he has not illustrated a card for this game since Eventide in 2008; as usual, his artwork is amazing! I do hope that this means that artists such as Rebecca Guay, Ron Spencer, or Thomas M. Baxa may eventually illustrate for WotC, again.
What does everyone else say about this? What are your thoughts about the second installment of the Signature Spellbook series?

The art is cool, but the card aesthetic in general Im not a fan of.

The Rest in Peace made me tear up. Same with Heartwarming Redemption because he gets to see his friends again after he dies but they are in Theros heaven, not Nyx, because there’s no gold masks

TypicalTimmy - No worries man. The artist is the best person they could've commissioned for the art. He hasn't done any MTG art in 11 years (since Shadowmoor) and he did the art for both Dakkon Blackblade and Korlash, Heir to Blackblade , so the fact that they obviously went out of their way to make this happen (and even thought to) is pretty damn cool.

As I said, before, I believe that it is now safe to presume that there shall be a Signature Spellbook for each of the original members of the Gatewatch, so that leaves Chandra, Liliana, and Nissa. Given that the sets for Jace and Gideon both used the original incarnation of each of those characters, I believe that it is safe to presume that the same shall be true for Chandra and Liliana, but Nissa's original card was elf-centric, so I imagine that WotC may use a different version of her for her own spellbook, but the question is which version they shall use.
I myself would like to see Nissa, Voice of Zendikar as the face card for a potential Signature Spellbook: Nissa in the future, because that is my favorite depiction of Nissa.
What does everyone else say about that? Which versions of the other members of the Gatewatch would you like to see for their own Signature Spellbooks?

Maybe Nissa, now that she's back on Zendikar (which has elves), she'll go all elf-nationalist again. e.g. "Everyone else messed up this world, we're the bosses now and gonna Make Zendikar Great Again."

If there is ever a Signature Spellbook: Ajani, will it focus on mono-white Ajani, red/white Ajani, or green/white Ajani?

Richard! Kane! Ferguson!
That Blackblade Reforged art is the shit especially with that frame. By far my favorite magic artist ever and I didn't think we'd ever get another piece of mtg art commissioned from him. It's so fitting though seeing as he did the art for Dakkon Blackblade .
