Yep, new legendary Sliver guys. And he's a doozy.
I say they need more ETB effects. That would also make sense as to why they print hushwing grfks (I can't spell from memory)

so what do people think he'll be price wise after M14 rotates out. idk if i should pre-order or just wait until rotation to throw him in my casual sliver deck

Hivelord seems very powerful in Standard, but that's only if Slivers become a thing, which I personally don't think they will.
On a different note, that art is incredible. I want that on a playmat.

Nobody's going to "spam and play Slivers". If there weren't before, an uncastable 5-drop and a few "meh" uncommon won't change anything.
Don't buy them. That's my suggestion. If you really want them, bust wait a week for pre-order prices to fall significantly. There's no way this card will cost more than 25 cents after two weeks.

For some reason, I thought he was referencing the Black uncommon one. XD
The Hivelord will probably still go down after it releases, too, just because everyone is like the people on this thread: freaking out and raving about how good it'll be and buying it so they have one. Pre-order prices for any card are almost always higher than where they'll actually settle to within a few weeks after a release.

Ahh right, yeh the black uncommon isn't worth anything. It would be good in Jund sliver aggro.
But in 5c, not so much, especially for EDH

At least this one isn't too OP. Of course if you get 4-5 Slivers out he's really good, but he won't be a high Draft pick.
