Anyone notice something...? Or a lack of something...?

There are no Gold cards.

So if there is a Legendary Werewolf with 'Transform', as is highly anticipated, then either A) There is a second checklist card (though they should fall between the Green and the Artifact), or B) The Legendary Werewolf is mono-color.

I suppose there is also the possibility that it is mono-color, but multi-color when it transforms... or that a Legendary Werewolf is a non-transform card (would be a flavour fail).

I didn't even notice the lack of multicolor. I'm stoked to see all of these though. Some mildly interesting names

None of these sound like legendary creatures (except for Hermit of the Natterknolls, in a Sapling of Colfenor kind of way). None really have a name that sounds like a persons name. And also if any of them become legendary werewolves, we can't use them as commanders unfortunately (as shown by the fact we can't use Elbrus, the Binding Blade  Flip as a commander).

I'm honestly disappointed. I was hoping for some cool transforming commanders.

Dunno man, that Town Gossipmonger seems like a shoe-in for a legendary slot...

Kessig Forgemaster kinda sounds like a legendary.

dbpunk the only reason you can't use Elebrus is because its not a creature.

A couple of these look like enchantments, which is pretty neat.

I hope they do what they did with Dark Ascension and put the dual colored cards in the second set. Another thing to console people is that we didn't get an ally commander until OGW so we may not be getting out werewolf commander until EMN.

the thing about legendary DFCs, is that the rules with them are wonky. Since Legendary checks for names, and DFCs have different names on the front and back, you can control two of the same DFC as long as they are on opposite sides.

That said, there is a named Werewolf in Innistrad lore that can't change back into a human. So that is something you could see.

One of the werewolf Alphas, Tovolar, actually hasn't been known to transform back into a human. He's just perpetually a huge wolf.

Second set, remember. I assume that we are going to get more transforming cards then.

I would assume the Werewolf legend would come in the set that has "Moon" in the name.

NecroPony I know, but you wouldn't be able to use a Legendary Creature you have to transform into either unless it's casted as a legendary creature. It was an example of a similar situation.

It just seems like a poor example.

on another note, we could have a dual coloured werewolf legend, similar to Daybreak Ranger  Flip, or Garruk Relentless  Flip.

The reason I used it as an example is because it transforms into Withengar Unbound  Flip. And I do hope for that except I feel like the flip card would have it.

I'm most interested in Skin Invasion and Autumnal Gloom, since they're obviously not creatures. The first sounds like an Aura and the second like a regular Enchantment.

Heir of Falkenrath sounds very legendary to me.
