Does anyone think that BFZ will bring back cards like Ancient Stirrings and Spell Pierce that are commons in desperate need of a reprint?
The Blue player in me really wants to see Pierce reprinted, and the Tron player in me (though I play blue not green) would love to see cards like Ancient Stirrings drop in price point.
Thoughts?

"in desperate need of a reprint" is rather subjective. Neither card is above $4.

I could be wrong but ancient stirrings went up due to tron being popular not due to reprints itll definitely go down. Serum visions needs a reprint though but that isnt happening.

Hmm... I would like an Ancient Stirrings reprint, but flavorfully it doesn't make much sense anymore. Rize of the Eldrazi was as they just began to stir, but now the Eldrazi have been free for a while. $3 for an Ancient Stirrings isn't that bad, especially when compared to (other commons)[http://www.mtggoldfish.com/price/Fifth+Dawn/Serum+Visions#paper].
Spell Pierce is possible, but the name isn't Zendikar specific so I don't know if it is any more likely here than it was in Khans.
I would be more interested in an Inquisition of Kozilek reprint, but that seems unlikely as well.
Oh well... Zendikar Fetchlands?

Serum Visions is connected to Mirrodin (the plane) because it's a reference to blinkmoth serum (blinkmoths being creatures that exist only on Mirrodin). So outside of a core set (which, hey, don't exist anymore) or a Modern Masters or other secondary product, we'd need a return to Mirrodin to see it again. It's out of the question for Zendikar.

I suppose, though, it's possible that Serum Visions could be expanded to include other kinds of serums. I feel like Innistrad would have been the second likeliest block for that after Mirrodin.

I suppose I exaggerated when I said in desperate need of, but more than $2 for a common is a little high in my opinion. Serum Visions did just see an FNM Promo print. It won't change the price at all, and I agree that it still needs a print in a set, but we have already been to Mirrodin twice (and if I'm not mistaken, the plane was destroyed, right?).

It would be awesome to see Spell Pierce. That's a reprint I could get behind

They should just unban preordain, for the good of the secondary market.
I'm kidding. The last thing twin needs is better filtering.
Spreading Seas would be a great card to have. It doesn't need a reprint, but it's a great card and it would punish abzan standard players.

I'm 99% sure that Spell Pierce is not going to be reprinted. Sure it only counters non-creature spells, but I feel like it's too good for Standard. Look at Stubborn Denial, but make it just a bit better.
Ancient Stirrings on the other hand I could see reprinted. It's not absurdly powerful in Standard and would be a nice reprint.
Epochalyptik - Serum Visions refers to the serum made by Blinkmoths, which are only found on Mirrodin/New Phyrexia (see Blinkmoth Nexus).

Guys you forgot about Inquisition of Kozilek. I believe this card needs to be reprinted since it wasn't it MM2. Also, Thoughtseize rotates and it can be a great replacement to it.

I don't really want IoK in standard. It's obviously not as good as it is in modern, but I'd rather see Abzan lose some of its power at this point.

Isn't Kozilek off in the blind eternities somewhere? Why not an Inquisition of Ulamog? Yeah? No? ok...

Doubt we'll see IoK given that Kozilek is not on zendikar (though I think we'll see IoK in the duel deck) and we have both Duress and Despise in standard
