If you go to a prerelease, apparently there are some seeded packs out there that are so-called "god-packs"... they give you one of each of the gods of Theros. I think this is both totally cool and (while confirmed) highly improbable to get. However, if anyone pops (or has already popped) one, share it here!

I watched someone open one, note it was in the prize pool i.e. just included in a lucky booster box. So if you preordered a box early on (or maybe you still could) you could end up with one sweet ass morning in may.

Yup, this thread needs to be deleted... along with this whole prerelease of Nyx. What a waste of money. EXTREMELY disappointed is putting it mildly, out store saw over 80 on the first of five events. No we are not a large outlet, but steady and making money. The way this product was boxed, about 10% of our customers had something playable, even when they were good players. Most folks left before the fourth opponent out of total dismay from the poor content of the boxes. I've been through a lot of these events, but far, this is the worst. Even the seed booster was hideous, suppose to support the chosen color, most got maybe five cards that did so. I lost customer last night, thanks MTG.

That is unfortunate Darq1. I am sorry to hear that. I did not do the prerelease, maybe I will go play some EDH now. The standard sets do not interest me in the slightest though. Has this block been tough for your store?

With some distance from the prerelease event, I've heard more about these so called "God packs". Seems that they have been found randomly out there, but so few it makes me wonder. My shop hasn't seen them, not in draft anyways. There are several guys buying boxes in hope of getting one.... bad taste MTG if this is a hoax.
Anyways, I'm looking forward to the 2015 block now, standard in this block will not be good unless they find a way to balance it in 2015.

@Darq1 It is confirmed by Wizards to be true. No chance of a hoax, they're just like, 1 in 30-some thousand packs.

A friend of mine got one out of his booster box. I've heard of at least 3 locally beside that one as well, but don't know if they are all true or rumor.

Yes, I looked into it after posting before I researched... oops.
I think the odds are better though, I called around to the other shops in town, and it seems a few were found here too. Still, I think I would have made that pack available as the top prize for prerelease weekend, controlled that way, and a great draw to the store engine. Alas, MTG does not consider its outlet partners, partners. Nuff said.
