Speed Vs. Cunning
Spoilers, Rumors, and Speculation forum

The Speed Vs. Cunning deck was spoiled awhile a go, and with all the baseless speculation going on, i thought I'd throw in my two cents. Storm Crow will be in it. The set symbol has what appears to be an eye with wings. Storms have eyes, crows have wings. Boom! Storm Crow confirmed. http://www.magicspoiler.com/duel-decks-speed-vs-cunning-spoiler/

You are right, jokes about Storm Crow need to stop. Why? Because Lord Crow is no joke! You will all see when the time for reckoning comes...

Shit this forum is about Speed vs Cunning not Storm Crows! I think the Speed deck is either mono red or Boros. And the Cunning Deck is either mono blue or Dimir.
Charging Badger is WAY BETTER then Storm Crow

Storm Crow jokes are like abortion. On the one hand, you don't want to kill something. On the other, you don't want to deal with the baby anymore.

SwaggyMcSwagglepants You really think that your 1/1 who can't even fly is better than a 1/2 that can? Lord Crow would kill a Charging Badger in combat and live. How dare you suggest such a ridiculous thing.

Enchant it, you're dead. Storm Crow is just a 1/2 with flying, and there are a ton of those. However, there is only 1 1/1 with trample (I think!)! And once he's done pummeling Storm Crow's ass, he deals damage to anyone sad enough to play with him, TitansFTW

SwaggyMcSwagglepants I'd like to refer you to here, which clearly shows that there are more 1/1 trample creatures out there, and that's only at CMC 1. The same could be applied to a Storm Crow : enchant it and it becomes stronger. The flying that Lord Crow has also negates the need for trample as most creatures can't block it anyway. I'd say that that is better than being able to occasionally deal a bit more damage to a player if (and only if) it is enchanted.

Then again, there are lots of cards that have bird as a subtype, but only Charging Badger has badger as a subtype, and Charging Badger is the only modern legal 1/1 1 drop with JUST trample. And if you look it up yourself, there are lots of 1/2 2 drop flyers. And if I play Lord Badger first turn, then next turn, I can swing before you get Peasant Crow out, as Lord Badger can hit your face for 1.

Not if you cast The Crow T1 for 0 mana due to it's special ability.
