Squelching Leeches to be the replacement of Pack Rat?

After Pack Rat rotates out, I'm betting that this will be the next staple on mono-black aggro/Black devotion deck.
Plus, if they reprint Liliana of the Dark Realms in M15, Squelching Leeches will be a bomb!
What do you guys think?

Doubtful. It's twice as expensive as Pack Rat and provides none of the same versatility. Pack Rat is good because it's a 2-drop and can copy itself at instant speed to grow stronger. You have to play each individual Squelching Leeches at sorcery speed, can only have four in a deck, can't easily make copies of them, and can't use them very effectively compared to Pack Rat .
On top of that, Squelching Leeches isn't really splashable. The shocks rotate out with Pack Rat , and Squelching Leeches will be confined to monoblack (where it would be mediocre at best)

It actually is in the database, which is why the link worked. Sometimes new card uploads don't properly display their images though. You can view the image if you go to the printing history on the card's page, however.

You're assuming mono black devotion will still be a thing after rotation, and that's not necessarily true. The meta changes, losing a whole block makes a lot of decks not viable anymore. Looking at previous metas, after rotation they usually lose at least 75% of the decks previously existing except for people trying to play worse versions of them. Even so, I don't really think this card will take any cards place. Cards like this have been printed in the past (See Nightmare ) and they have not worked well. It's just too open to removal and it is reliant on other cards for it to be good. Pack Rat Is good because it isn't the easiest card to remove, if you try to remove it if they have mana open they can simply pay that mana and discard a card to get another rat. I honestly just don't seeing it being all that great. If someone can manage to pull off Mono Black or nearly mono black in draft it will be good, but i don't believe it will be constructed playable.

Korlash, Heir to Blackblade doesn't make the cut most of the time. ...Lashwrithe rocks though.
Card will be fun, and as u said, especially with Lilliana of the Dark Realms and Corrupt
