Temur Ascendancy = Fires of Yavimaya?

For those of you who have been playing since the early 2000's (or those of you like me who randomly find these things out), you know that Fires of Yavimaya RG aggro was a Standard force in it's day. Temur Ascendancy reminds me of that card, and I am wondering if it will have the same impact that Fires did on the standard format.

There's some good ramp in Standard, so this is playable. I'm seeing this as a good card in Standard and EDH. The draw engine + Aggro makes for an excellent midrange deck.

I like the idea of a temur ramp/monsters deck using ascendancy. Maybe that will work.
