The Two New Masterpieces

Recently two new masterpieces were revealed , which leads to my question. So far all the masterpieces (and expeditions before them) were reprints of old cards that then became legal in the draft format, but not in standard. Recently two new masterpieces were revealed that were new cards that had never been printed before, the two legendary artifacts.So I just wanted to know whether or not these were standard legal.

Erm... the Gearhulks? And as Photogenic said, the Tango lands?

Bovine073 what he means is that being printed as a Masterpiece doesn't automatically make you standard legal, you have to otherwise have been printed in a standard-legal set.
Also, just in case there was any doubt, MaRo confirmed on Blogatog that the two new masterpieces are in Aether Revolt

Planar bridge is awesome, but very expensive. It cannot search for instants and sorceries, but does the fact that it puts permanents directly onto the battlefield make up for that, as well as its higher cost, compared to Planar Portal and Ring of Three Wishes?

Freezingfist, I, also, am very fond of Raymond Swanland, as he has immense artistic talent, so his contributions to this game are great.
However, I have noticed that Steve Argyle has not illustrated any cards for this game in the past several sets; why is that? Has he lost interest in this game, as have several other great artists (most notably Ron Spencer, Thomas M. Baxa, and Rebecca Guay)?

This could be an entire separate article, DemonDragonJ...
I'm sure every artist has their own reasoning, but I know certain artists have become... disgruntled.. with the way and amount they're paid. Also, they've reached a point where they are well-known enough to sell their work independently and make a living without being tied into a commission system.
Unless Mr. Argyle, or any of these talented people have specifically mentioned their own reasonings in a blog (like Peter Mohrbacher's July 3, 2015 post on http://www.vandalhigh.com/blog/), or they lurk these forums, we may never get their own reasons, but there's no lack of talented artists out there eager to gobble up the work these masters leave behind.
As much as I miss some of them, I also like seeing the new blood and style... as long as Raymond Swanland stays... and Michael Kormarck...

Yes, these are standard legal, because they are part of the Aether Revolt set. Just like the gearhulks in Kaladesh, which were masterpieces and cards in the set.
