What if Avacyn is Nahiri?

Currently, Nahiri's current whereabouts are one of the greatest mysteries in the story. Sorin has stated that she is not dead, but has not given any further information about her so clearly is keeping some secret from everyone else.

One idea that I have seen some users mention is that Avacyn is Nahiri; while the idea is certainly very far-fetched, it would be very interesting. The exact details of Avacyn's creation have not been revealed, and both she and Nahiri have pure white skin and hair. While that alone is hardly strong evidence, it would help to give Avacyn greater relevance to the story beyond her role in Innistrad, and would certainly be an unexpected twist. Perhaps Nahiri was wounded, and Sorin transformed her into an angel to save her, at the cost or her planeswalker's spark? I admit that this theory is highly unlikely to prove to be true, but it still is an unusual idea.

What does everyone else think about this? Is it possible that Avacyn is Nahiri, or at least modeled in her image (akin to how Ixidor modeled Akroma after his wife, Nivea)?

I thought Sorin Markov created Avacyn so there would be balance between good (angels) and evil (demons) on Innistrad so vampires could continue to feed on humans lol

Yeah, pretty sure somewhere in the lore it mentions that Sorin literally created Avacyn for the sole purpose of fighting evil. That kind of discards the theory of anyone being Avacyn.

"Sorin felt a small, unsettled feeling rustle inside of him like a snake, coiled and ready to strike. Nahiri was gone and her silence disturbed him..."

Nahiri isn't Avacyn. If she was, why would Sorin be 'disturbed' by her absence?

What even remotely credible substantiation have you to offer besides the fact that they both have white skin and hair (ignoring, as you do, that white skin and hair are characteristic of all Kor)?

Everyone: I know that it is unlikely, but I still wished to mention the idea, anyway.

I mean this in an observational, objective kind of way, but some things are not even worth mentioning because they're ungrounded and underdeveloped.

I could propose that Karn is actually Ugin because both are colorless planeswalkers, but there's no credible evidence to even begin to substantiate that claim, and all reasonable observations and the basic elements of the lore point to the contrary.

Epochalyptik: that is a very fair comparison, and I understand your point.

On a different, but related subject, will WotC ever reveal the exact details of Avacyn's creation? Given that she is a being of immense power, I imagine that Sorin must have used a great portion of his own power to create her.

Sorin created Avacyn before the Mending, when Planeswalkers had godlike powers, and many had the ability to create and populate whole worlds.

I imagine that the storyline will eventually give us insights as to Avacyn's creation. I don't imagine that that will happen anytime soon though.
