What's the likelihood we'll eventually return to Dominaria block someday?

I know Wizards got tired of and done with doing blocks and story lines set on Dominaria long long ago, but were it to return it would be essentially a new plane to most players anyway, so I don't see it being too problematic. What's your thoughts?
Maro has said that a return to Dominaria is something they can do. Although Shandalar has become the "generic fantasy setting" role for the multiverse, which is why we get Soul of Shandalar and not Soul of Dominaria.

Yeah, we will always see bits and pieces in Core Sets, and obviously other things. Look at our new Teferi, for instance.
We will probably return in earnest, at some point, to Magic's "home plane." But as to when, I can't say.

It will have to be something big, story-wise. Maybe when Nicol Bolas returns...?

Without a doubt. It is the nexus. We only have Karn left of its walkers, but Teferi and Jhoira are still kicking around so there's enough storywise. I think WOTC is content with expanding the multiverse, so we are more likely to visit new planes. And, we still haven't gone to Shandalar so that will come first. But, yes we will return possibly during an Eldrazi invasion because no walker would want them devouring the nexus.

Yeah, Shandalar comes with Talrand and stuff, also Slivers and Kalonian stuff. But I don't think we've ever actually had a block there...
We need to have the New Phyrexian storyline resolved somehow, along with the Eldrazi. Perhaps Dominaria will have some role to play in these threads of story.

I thought Dominaria was wrecked when the "time travel" happened?

The walkers closed the rifts with help thus stopping its destruction.

Could be possible. Dominaria's basically the most important plane in the Multiverse, so it wouldn't make much sense to never go back.
