Well it won't destroy Avacyn, Angel of Hope or anything it protects. Or anything that has Hexproof.

FatherLiir it can target Dragonspeaker just as Reprisal can but neither can kill him. and neither can target SBD

The way I see it is this:
Reprisal --- Kills Goblin Rabblemaster, while Valerous Stance can't.
Valerous Stance --- Doesn't kill Rabble, but can waste an opponent's removal spell.
I feel like Valerous Stance is stronger here, but that depends on what else is printed in FRF. In total, Valerous stance is fine/not-bad vs. UB/Esper control for the indestructible mode, great against Abzan and Sidisi-Whip (or Abzan Whip) for both modes (other than against Hornet Queen in particular), fairly bad against Jeskai Tempo -- you might get some use with the indestructible mode, and flat-out bad against aggro of almost any sort.

Mantis Rider is an on-curve threat that this can't handle as well.

But against Mantis you could swap in Suspension Field or whatever in mono white

Yeah. They usually don't do strictly better cards that much anymore except for remaking some downright awful cards playable.

Unless they come out with something that works better in heroic this will be a four of out of the 75 probably 2 in the main board. Of course I could be totally wrong right now we have a mix of destroy and exile cards if one gets used way more than the other after frf comes out that's going to make this card much better or much worse

The only threat besides rabble master it can't target is Stormbreath Dragon and a +1ned Sarkhan, the Dragonspeaker
